I just used silicone lube. Similar to the link, but way smaller, that size if you want it to last a few lifetimes. -

For the 150mm Between outside to MVHR unit, and MVHR to manifold/plenums (they are the same thing) use something like Ubbink foam duct (or similar). This is a duct and the required insulation in one product. Leave drains stuff in the ground. Doing drainage stuff. -

It could be your first inverter is setting a voltage output based on local grid voltage (so local grid plus a bit), the new inverter is adding a bit more. And reaching it's max voltage. I would look at where the new inverter is located and feed wiring on the AC side. Maybe it's too restrictive (need a bigger mm² cable) and the inverter is kicking out a higher than optimal voltage to compensate. Then tripping. When I installed my second array I had to use oversized AC cables to keep voltage within manageable limits. -

Or just heater hotter and have a time window when it's allowed to heat. I operate on two time windows, early morning on cheap rate, early afternoon (only heats if needed) to make most of any solar energy going spare. I found letting heat as it thought was needed (as you are) used way more energy than timed windows. Notice your heating the cylinder 5 times a day. Is that correct? -
I was thinking the opposite direction, where to dump lots of heat energy given off by the generation. 25% of the energy is electric then you have 50+% of heat you could use. So if you have 10kWh of battery to charge, you would have 20kWh of heat energy going free (from engine coolant), so you keep it in a useful temperature range 35 to 80 degs that's about 400L. Or thick screed UFH could also be used to buffer instead of into water. If air cooled you arrange the coolant air to be directed towards an ASHP condenser fan, and let the ASHP turn that low grade heat into useful heat, with a good CoP. If you want to extract the exhaust heat that can be done also, with a heat exchanger or two.

Welcome. Would like to challenge the thought that UFH will cost less. With UFH you have greater downwards heat losses when comparing to radiator systems. Even with very good insulation. Is you ground floor insulated? As I noticed the Wunda quote is for a 20mm system. As an overlay system, every floor covering comes up, all skirting are removed, all doors are shortened etc. it isn't a small job. I would really stay with radiators, but make them work well. The best system being a low temperature radiator system. Ideally you would convert the boiler to run priority demand hot water and have weather or load compensation for heating and high temp for cylinder heating. Move away from thinking zones, boilers just don't like it, they run poorly and this applies to UFH and radiator systems.

37 is low, so no surprise you get comments. It is also in the optimal growth temp range for legionella. So not a good temperature to store water at. Big cylinder, so not a full turnover of water and storing at 37, wouldn't be my choice. Even with straight water from the cylinder it's a cool shower. If the sensor is half way up the cylinder, assume the temperature control comes from the same sensor? If so you are only heating the upper half of the cylinder, below the sensor could be cold. So your 400L is now only 200L of semi useful water. So a 34 Deg shower is nearly all water from cylinder. The thermocline will just rise so water temp drops pretty quickly at the sensor. -

If you're doing the MVHR, do it it with the correct stuff. Do either galvansed duct with the all the silencers in a branch system. Or do a plenum system with semi rigid 70 or 90mm duct. -
Sorry I like the Scottish system, either certified structural engineer provides a design certificate or you have to provide all the long calculations, for design approval, prior to getting a building warrant. No warrant no permission to build.

Why are you calculating, what's on your structural drawings? If you don't have structural drawings, you need to ask yourself why you don't?

Left it an hour or so. Then went into the commissioning page on the smart meter and that looks for the network to hook up to, but didn't even find a signal. -

Just tried this 2x slim jim antenna and coax. Outside one 7m up in the air and other one next to meter. Nothing changed. Think we have zero signal of any use near us. -

It's ok if you have radiators elsewhere then you can run everything at the same temperature, but UFH at radiator temps is a waste of time and money. I ended with a fan coil. Room with UFH on 125mm centres. 250mm of insulation underneath. At zero Deg day, flow temperature over 40 Deg and room only getting to 16 degs. Pretty pathetic. Fan coil at 35 degs, any temperature I want in the room. -

A stock one I would doubt. You could always modify one that comes flat packed, by trimming the sides and shelves depth down. But a pull out larder I doubt exists. Could be wrong.

Yes would agree, have both screed and covered with osb. The osb required such high flow temp to keep room remotely warm, I decommissioned. -

Or just walk up your drive circumvented any barbwire. Leave barbwire to the military. Barbed wire just says, I am rich and have lots to hide and protect, please break in. Do you automatic lights? So they can't sneak about in the dark unseen. Or likely to be seen heard easily -

Compare the U values used to your build. Was an air test completed? Do you just have intermittent fans in wet rooms for ventilation? -

Also my build, around 200m², very poor form factor, vaulted ceiling in every room. If it was built to minimum building standards and didn't have responsible airtightness and MVHR would be about 5-6kW at -9. -

New build and 10.3kW sounds huge. Have you checked the heat loss calculation. Post it on here to be reviewed. Or go into boffins corner and find the heat loss calculation spreadsheet and do your own calculations. To put some perspective on the number 10kW x 24hrs is 240kWh a day. A CoP of 3 is 80kWh of electric per day. Or £20 per day, just for heating. -
6kW heat pump into UFH system. 5.5 hrs of data. 6 degs outside. 4 degs rise in flow temperature. If you have a mixed system you need the UFH on all the time, if it's on a mixer the floor temp stabilises and the hot water flow inlet to system stays low, as does the out flow, so allows radiator flow temp to increase to required level. Faffing about with on off cycles just stops that process. Floor temperature requires most the flow. Gas boiler just throws out lots of kWs to compensate, heat pump cannot do that.
