Why dpm under pir ? i was just going to do pir , pir upstands and dpm over that

Can’t remember the stepoc size but I think it was one less than the largest . Stone is sat on a separate footing . We had a gap between the stepoc and the lane so just did a concrete pour in the gap . Not very wide - maybe 40cm . i stuck a land drain around the base outside the stepoc . Covered it in chippings to aid drainage . We had very little gap between dug hole and external insulation. Our dig out was all rock so couldn’t use to backfill

Sigh yes . i guess I shouldn’t worry as I know where the issue is .

One of ( our many ) grandsons is blind . The excitement for him in using a toilet and hear it cut the Poo ? up is hard to quantify !! - it’s off the scale !! So I must keep my promise and let him have a macerator - until I go spare when he busts it with super sh*t !!!

Z wave seems solid and good - so I trust it . Yes ; tons of nerdy home automation. i guess what I was really asking is there a certain type of manifold I should look at ? . Exactly what z wave components should I look at to activate the manifold ; just a simple relay type affair ???

Hey all So my ufh has been spec’d . For the moment we are having wireless thermostats . My question is how do these control the ufh manifold valves ? Ideally I want to control the valves via z wave . So any advice on what type of setup I need for this would be great . cheers

Hey ! So UFH installer has taken a look . He wants 150mm pir on floor then vapour barrier before they put ufh pipes followed by screed . What type of vapour barrier should I use ? . I assume I tape any joints ( with what ? ) . I assume I run it up the timber frame studs so screed doesn’t touch studs and also to stop screed going under ufh . Any advice welcome! ?

Sorry!. This was meant to read as POSITIVE news!. It's the same not worse! - probably still drying out.

No. 1 roof light to go (needs some repair work and a few dry days). Flashings done. Coping (that are damaged have dpc covering them ). I'm pretty confident this leak is fixed. So when we get a few more dry days will stick some dye along the front wall ( where the 2nd leak appears to track from ).
