Yep ; probably like the rubbish I bought off eBay !

Made a purchase from lights Looks far more like it meets British standards . Spent a bit more than the original £10 ( about £35 I think ) - looks trendy though and gives excellent light !!

Should be do able with z wave . Also no controller should be needed if using association. Z wave is pretty stable and reliable .

Funnily enough by chance I spoke to a appliance repair guy today . He said a piece of copper pipe and some jubilee clips !!!

Didn’t realise until now they were called cam locks . Learn something new everyday ?

Hey! Bought 2 boxes to house modem etc. - they are pretty good!. I choose these as it said 'lockable' . Now I have them I can see it's just a simple triangle key i.e. anyone can open them. Googled it but can't see if it's possible to replace this lock with a proper key lock i.e. when you turn the key the bolt rotates down to lock it. Any help appreciated!

No cuff The barb bit goes straight in no issue - too loose though . Ordered another hose ; female both ends and a coupler - hopefully better luck !

Ouch £12 delivery!

Hey all, The builder has left me a standard light 'drop' in my loft bedroom. It's too low (ceiling height is restrictive anyway). So I purchased from ebay ( yeah I know! ) a nice shallow LED light for £10. Quite frankly I'd be afraid to install that in my house let alone a tenanted one! So I'm looking for a recommendation for something that doesn't look like it was made cheap in China; and conforms to UK regs. Any respectable lighting companies to recommend? Cheers

It was the ebay link you gave. Yeah it's loose as anything no friction at all. Not happy to have a 'join' anyway. @ProDave think that might be a better idea; will remove it tomorrow - happier I think with 1 continuous pipe....

Got that extension pipe suggested . Fit is way to slack !!! The ‘ribbed’ section of the hose goes in - I *assume* the next section is aswell ?? ( impossibly tight ; even with a bit of fairy ?‍♀️ on it ) . So guess that ain’t right . Presumably I need something else ???

Be renting it out I reckon when it’s done !
