  1. Mine never had any black inserts - that’s new to me . Even so it wouldn’t help with internal recess corners .
  2. I think so. I bought a set of 4 - i.e. a variety of shapes. I'll bite th bullet and put some photo's up tomorrow. I've been over and re-siliconed it twice - but not having a nice flat vertical surface is a pain.
  3. Yeah ; I see these NOW! - but the tiles are in!. TBH I could tile ontop the tiles AND then insert proper internal trim.
  4. That’s not the problem . It’s getting a semi decent silicone line over an undulating pattern in an awkward area . Tempted to cut out the silicone and just grout it - that would be a pita ...
  5. No ! Your tiles are puss easy as they are nice and smooth !
  6. Yeah but is that helpful ! ?
  7. Sigh! I'm struggling with the ensuite recesses . To silicone an easy access wall corner using fugi thingies no problem. To try and do the same in the recess is just to awkward - it looks a bit crap ( hence no photo ). Overall I'm not happy with the ensuite recess trim - wish I bought a recess you don't tile and just goes straight in! Anyway! I could use the mitre corner edges to cover the opening edges ( as I plan to use in the bathroom recesses ). But I'm struggling to find any 'trim' for all the recess internal joins. I suppose I could reverse the corner edge to make an 'L' on the inside. Not really sure......... Or of course I could not worry as no one will ever notice apart from me!!!. The issue is these bloody hex tiles. The surface undulates as they are textured so to get a nice straight mastic line is almost impossible... f ucking tiles - SWMBO's fault !
  8. No,no,no @Onoff must tile it!. He is an expert tiler almost i.e. he needs more practice. Don't bail and take the wussy route man up. MEN TILE!
  9. Big jobs are just millions of small jobs - that’s my excuse
  10. I apologise deeply and unreservedly if my humour was offensive . I am indeed as you say just a worthless troll ?
  11. Be quicker to stick it on a usb stick and post it
  12. You are going to super struggle in Clifton etc . Unless your budget is Uber like . Best option is to buy a property with potential to either split the plot or demolish. Rare though . I have an underground kingdom open to visitors / victims .
  13. The Dead Zone was filmed there
  14. Fight !!!!
  15. Some of your photos should be banned
  16. Decided to try the silicone on the tiles . A test run . Choose a corner where the sink is going , completely unnecessary but a good test . So just a vertical line ontop the grout in the corner Think I did ok
  17. Actually it’s the other corner - typically!!
  18. It’s tight - maybe only 3mm
  19. Thanks to everyone for really good input ! So first will try simply the foam strip jammed up under the lip . I’ll then stick the hose facing at it and blast it . Be nice if it worked . Underground houses are (expletive deleted)ing dogs when your architect doesn’t know and the ‘professional roofers’ do the worst job you’ve ever seen . ?
  20. Yeah - it’s also a good plan Remember the felt is just a protective layer . The firm who did the roof properly said I didn’t need it . It’s just to protect the bituminous layer . But is ct1 really that good outdoors in all weathers forever ??
  21. Another good plan . The black is structural silicone as recommended by the glazing firm .
  22. 3mm maybe 5mm
  23. What a bloody good idea ? ordered !
  24. Ordered! ?
  25. Ct1 ? It solves all the worlds problems . Or the stuff @joe90 mentioned .
