  1. Yes and sink/washer etc. But jubilee clips worry me. On a poo macerator surely it's not jubilee clips there also?????
  2. Exactly!
  3. All ready to test ! Joint into stack done with tiger seal so need to wait until tomorrow What could possibly go wrong ?
  4. That’s what I’d like to do . But not sure what fitting I need to go from the unit to solid weld pipe .
  5. Managed to get a 32mm pipe in Still not happy though . Once that pumps it’s basically 1 jubilee clip holding it all in . My experience with jubilee clips is they can loosen over time especially in this situation with pump pressure . Is there nothing more robust I can use ??
  6. Hmmm perhaps I’m not meant to cut it off ! Goes in the pipe like this ? ( but you cut it to fit ? ) Even if that’s correct it’s a crap fitting with just one clip on it ! . I don’t like this fitting . Something better I could use ?? ( notice swept floor !! )
  7. What am I missing here !? Cut the end off the fitting ( that might be wrong ? ) . But there’s no way a 32mm pipe fits in there . Someone point out my dumbness please ( I’ll blame it on Monday )
  8. Sorry 18mm per metre
  9. SWMBO was on site today ( worse than bco ! ) . Not impressed at no underground wc . SO ! Supposing I have a geberit type wall cistern what’s the maximum height a toilet can realistically be ? . Then it’s a 10mm fall per metre , yes ??? Trying to see if a ‘high’ toilet will give me enough of a run . Also I notice in the macerator install instructions the ‘output’ on top instead of going straight vertical they always ‘snake’ a bit horizontally then go vertical. Why do that ???
  10. That’s not good enough answer - and there going to know that
  11. I’m sure . But they need to define exactly why not . Just like arguing with planning
  12. Pir and foam between joists Then pir over all of that equally with foam where required . Then foil tape every joint . That’s what I did - yet to feel a draft
  13. Any specific paint people recommend ? Looking for ceiling and wall the same I.e white . But want it definitely Matt - no shiny sheen !!
  14. Bring it on !
  15. Photoshop is my friend ??
  16. Leak in my insulation. Not sure what you were thinking ?
  17. Yeah I will Chuck it in anyway with presumably the seperate vat invoice .
  18. Many hours of fun with these
  19. I thought you couldn’t on hobs but could on extractors ... Therefore I shall argue the toss at the time !
  20. It’s been dispatched. So will wait for the “ pay the vat” before you have it message . Cheapest in U.K. I could find was £2100 inc vat . This one ( exactly the same model according to the blurb ) will work out inc delivery ( £116! ) and vat at around £1300 Of course I can get the vat back . Or some of it as it’s a hob and extractor so I’ll assume I’ll get 50% of the vat back
  21. Though it would seem I can’t install one . If I had and it broke I’d call a unhappy plumber in ?
  22. Yep . Notice now the Amazon receipt says excluding vat . So will get stung on that but can claim it back .
  23. I think it would be best to add one . Though I think the macerator has non return valves aswell .
  24. Fear of paying twice as much
  25. Almost perfect then
