  6. Definitely a rip off in my opinion . Every 12 months I just pull all pumps floats up to make sure they work . Clear any debris around the pump and float . Also have a spare pump for those β€œ just in case β€œ moments . Been doing that on my rainwater pumps for around 4 yrs - all good .
  7. I always worry about things like this . Currently in the incomplete lounge I just have 3x2 vertical to support plasterboard once ready . Really I suppose I need to fix osb or similar inbetween them for where the tv is going . Planning a big 60” ; much to swmbo’s pleasure πŸ˜‰
  8. I’m going to form an EV club . You can all get to use my charger at any time at the fixed rate of 60p a kw. As well as that generous offer you also get to look at my hole . I mean hole in the ground …

  17. Yeah I’ve got 6 walk on skylights and the price is upsetting .
  18. Yeah - your solutions require skill . So not happening 😁
  19. OK! I think that's it. OSB 'ceiling' and just stick this stuff too it !
  20. https://www.panelcompany.co.uk/collections/ceiling-panels/products/gloss-white-v-groove-6mm ? I presume their weight is nominal so could just sit on the perimeter trim i.e. require no metal wire or any other support.
  21. Maybe a shower panel cut down to size?. 60 quid though ffs!
  22. I've got to do tons of suspended ceiling stuff ( tiles 60 x 60 cm ). I decided to start 'easy' with my tiny WC. It's approx area is 80 x 80 cm. I thought that I could get an oversized tile and simply cut it to fit that. I now see there is generally either 60x60 or 1200x60 Really don't want to do a suspended system in such a tiny room just for the sake of 1.5 tiles. Was about to start the perimeter trim and then realised my issue. Googled - can't find ANY tile that I can cut down to suit. Any other suggestions?. Don't want a plasterer in as he won't turn up for years/months - so was thinking of a simple do-able solution; for a neat simple ceiling.
