  1. Changed the filters 3 months ago - they were filthy
  2. Sorry ; mis interpreted the title - my bad .
  3. It’s been been a while ; so perhaps I haven’t noticed . Inlet valves in rooms I can feel a definite air flow . Outlets ( to the outside ) ; so bathrooms etc. I can feel nothing at the vent . Even a piece of tissue infront the vent doesn’t stutter . This correct ? . Though if I take a shower the mvhr kicks in - so I assume working ???
  4. I said this ages ago - think it’s a nah
  5. You’re going to end up with 10 pumps in your build ! 😉😎
  6. No . That’s the answer to this threads title . Sorted 😎
  7. Support ? You know I didn’t (expletive deleted)ing call them . I just grow a big pair and bite the bullet 💪.
  8. I know. He won't listen!. Like I sometimes don't listen to you...
  9. You know I’m going to say Zoellar again don’t you 😁
  10. Is a ‘ tube float ‘ the tube with basically a ping pong ball in it ? These I found stick ! Given your situation I would leave current pump as is . Add a new 50mm pipe ( for another pump ) break out that pump recess so it’s larger . You can then have 2 pumps work in parallel each with an outlet ( 32mm and 50mm ) . If in doubt double up .
  11. My slab out the rear does indeed has a fall and funnels water towards the pump. I do have then level pedestals ontop. It might be possible to put a concrete 'topper' with fall on your patio slab. Or ( depending on layout ) simply break a channel in it so water equally runs towards pump.
  12. The blue parrot it is …
  13. @Thorfun ; I can see now ! You are draining a big area 🙄 That can be a shit load of water on a rainy day ! . Pump away my friend . Belt ‘n’ braces all the way . I’m 4 pumps ( only 3 active at the moment ) and 2 sewer connections. You should certainly be doing no less .
  14. Are you really getting the rainwater from an area of 15m x 8m? It’s hard to know the lay of your land . Is that area funnelling the rainwater to your sunken area and sump ? If so - then yes add a 50mm extra outlet and seperate pump . Before I started my build my area was exposed to rain ( I.e when just a concrete base in the ground ) . Without a pump the area would be a good few inches of water after substantial rain .
  15. @Thorfun ; I’m currently on 1 rain water pump on a 32mm pipe no issues . Like you - had tons of rain . What’s the size of area that can attract rain and send it to your 1 pump ?. Can’t believe the pipe isn’t wide enough . Have you visually seen the pump output to the height require ? I.e pissing out not trickling ?I’m guessing maybe the pump isn’t man enough for the height you need ?
  16. Sorry , mis read title of thread . That ‘v’ in van looked like an ‘m’ for a moment.
  17. Best way to keep your bath warm is finish the (expletive deleted)ing ufh 😎
  18. I’ve found at least 3 people in the tub keeps the water warm .
  19. Iv’e not implemented mine yet - but would keep this as a seperate thing I.e not dependent on HA or another system Depends exactly what you want . Some ip cameras a nvr ( or cloud based recorder ) will be fine for security . If you want cctv to ‘trigger’ other events then some kind of HA . I use a few cameras indoors as it gives almost perfect control over lighting compared to movement sensors . Just a wired cat 5/6 to where you want each tv . Can add dongles / Apple TV etc. as you wish then . Depending on size of your build you may want a mesh . Also your view on how fast you wish WiFi to be . I was originally going to have sensors etc. trigger mvhr . In the end the mvhr functions perfectly without any external input . Set and forget 😁 Depends on budget . I put Polk ceiling speakers in bedrooms and bathrooms . Each fed by a raspberry pi . Totally reliable and considerably cheaper than Sonos The problem is as you’ve pointed out is your time / knowledge against budget . If you can’t be arsed ( or simply don’t want to ) learn raspberry pi stuff for audio as an example then spend on Sonos or similar . 3k on blinds I’d shit a brick at ! 😎 ; I’ll find / make my own solution . Perhaps it’s best to set a budget for everything you want then allocate funds based on how important it is to you and how much work you want . Or just get tons of cash and buy everything you want 😎
  20. Sorry ; mis understood the thread title . Always “ go all the way “ 😉
