Think I might rip that steel out and fix these “ come with the kitchen but no idea what they are for “ horizontals set down into the unit

Lol Got my sink ! I’m a bit tight for space !! This too far to the front ? Has to be hard to the left as tap has to be too right of sink

This is the downfall . I put my pipe cutters somewhere safe . 45 minutes to find them …

They are under the hammer that you can’t find

What screws for into the laminate ? Just standard wood screws ? - pre drill it ??
-
Yeah I was worried about screws . The panels are 18mm. Fear makes me worry that : Not enough bite if screw not deep enough Going through the panel !
-
Some big gaps between units so added noggins . Laminate panel goes right down that side . Assume glue ? ( ct1 ? ) . Will have to add vertical noggins on that white unit as otherwise nothing to bond too .

Off topic ? ( just my mind ! )

No . It’s urine yellow silicone to match the urine coloured grout !

On that corner nothing . Pipework to feed shower etc. no where near .
-
Noticed this today on the wall corner outside the ensuite shower . Put my hand over it and a tiny smear of paint came off . Assume a leak is pushing the paint off . Ensuite shower corner looks ok but presumably not . Should I smear a line of clear ct1 down the corner and hope for the best ? plastic bead with ct1 behind it ? Just leave - so it gets worse but maybe more obvious to see where it’s leaking from ?

Isn’t this a scene from the mother Alien nest where she penetrates everyone ?

Currently testing an ‘early bird’ prototype. Few interface issues but so far so good .

But the real future is …

What could possibly go wrong ?

It’s funny all BM’s recommend hardi board . I went with this ditra type board . Light weight and easy to cut . Of course you’ll need noggins for bathroom fixings . Tile adhesive sticks to this board like sh*t . In the shower used their ‘tape’ , glue and paint on joints . p.s obviously not my shower cubicle ! The boards dead useful for other things

Seriously though ( forget ring ) . Patrolling your house ( when unoccupied ) . Going to areas of interest or external movement. Oooo I dream “ Alexa tell drone to find SWMBO “ “Alexa tell drone too see who’s shagging upstairs “ Endless fun and annoyance. My HA has been very stable so it’s time to progress to something it can be integrated into and be liable to fail .

📸 Look at this post on Facebook https://www.uniladtech.com/gadgets/amazon-ring-always-home-cam-mini-drone-security-077262-20231105 I smell new toy alert . Personally I don’t want to be part of rings subscription cloud based infrastructure. But … I’m sure I could add a drone to my HA to patrol my house - with a built in taser .
