Today I needed SWMBO’s help - not heavy - just awkward / impossible on my own . Eventually she said “ You’re just like your father ! - so angry ! “ . A multitude of responses filled my mind , but I didn’t respond . The lesson here ? . Don’t fight when you are (expletive deleted)ed and will lose ! 🫤🤣

Managed to cut the first piece OFH a guide and suggested blades no issue . unfortunately underestimated the dust produced . Currently cleaning out all my cracks .

Ahhh I see ! I fitted the osb to the unit then fitted the tap - so that I know the hole and access is all good 👍

Can see tap access if it fails will be a dog . So did a mock-up . Cut out the unit to the right for access - washer goes here so no issue .

Ahhhhh . I was eventually correct . Don’t think I’ll use the screws though - can’t see their benefit when I can just tighten the metal nut . Though …. I suppose when I can’t access the nut for further tightening the screws might be easier to access ???

Think I’ll go with this arrangement!

Washer or rubber don’t even sit in the white thing

I don’t have to use the screws … but you know - I do try to follow the instructions…

Suggests this . With worktop after white thingy . Just seems odd that the screws will push the metal washer against the rubber and then the lip of white thing ….

But in the instructions the install pics ( first 5 ) don’t show it . Then in the exploded view it’s there .
