i was quite fortunate as when i was shopping for pocket doors i decided to buy just 1 for the time being to see how easy it was to fit rather than buying all 3 at once. there was no discount for all 3 at once either so it made sense. so glad now as otherwise the other 2 would be sitting here and i'd be trying to flog them!

as far as i know the door on the Eclisse system can be fitted later after all the plasterboarding has been done. i'm pretty sure when i read a thread by @pocster that was how he ended up doing it.

ps. to be honest I actually want to use a very deep trap with a removable 'filter' type thing so the boss doesn't have to be completely at floor level. I want it to act like a catch-pit type thing so I can easily remove any mud and other stuff that comes off the dog. I've not researched them yet though but surely they exist?

or do the membrane and taping yourself so you know it's done right! then get someone to do the flow screed. 😉

i used Floplast for all my 110mm pipework but when i was researching the waste pipe i found the Osma Wavin stuff from CityPlumbing was cheaper than the Floplast stuff. but this is still a 45° bend. no one seems to make a 22.5° bend for plastic waste pipe.

also seems a moot point as I can't find anything but 45° or 90° bends in any manufacturers waste pipes. 😞

i'm sure i've previously read on here that different manufacturers can have slightly different sizings and so it's best to stick with the same manufacturer! or am i misremembering that as well?

the problem for me with this solution is the shower waste will be relatively high off the ground. the higher it is going in to the soil pipe the higher I have to fit the dog shower! I do have some lee-way as we're not fitting the shower to the ground but we don't want it so high that it's hard for a smaller dog to get in to.

tbh, not sure what you mean here! this is what I was thinking with the boss collar you linked? or like this with 2 x strap bosses the boss for the shower needs to be as low as possible to give a required fall from the shower to the soil pipe.

i guess i could cut away some of the insulation at the bottom of the wall to give me more space to fit the 45° bends? 🤔

yes, apart from the fact that that will make the pipes going away from the soil pipe too far away from the wall. i'd like them to be within the service cavity and i can't find anything less than 45° bend and the soil pipe is too close to the wall to allow that. make sense?

sorry. my bad. the boss is not fixed at all. just dry running it to figure out how to get it to work!

that's an interesting potential solution but i recall @Nickfromwales saying once that flexible waste is bad idea! and he used it once when the customer insisted on it (or something along those lines, although it could've been a 110mm soil pipe from the toilet he was talking about. my mind is a bit fuzzy on those details!)

hmmm...maybe the middle one might work. depends on the distance behind the main 110mm hole i guess. do you have a link to that?

afternoon. I'm after some assistance in problem solving a waste run and I'm hoping that @Nickfromwales is in a more helpful mood than he was last night on my plastering question! 😉 we have a soil pipe coming out of our slab in the utility room but it's too far from the wall to be able to run the pipes in the service cavity and not far enough away to allow a 45° bend from a boss. as the below photo shows: I need 2 pipes to attach to this soil pipe. one going left to the dog shower and one going right to the sink/washing machine. I can't find anything less than a 45° bend in this Osma Wavin waste pipe! why is that? how can I make what I need happen?
