Click Smart kit? https://www.scolmore.com/products/inels/ Transmitter sited at / operated by existing 2G switch. Receiver sited at 13A socket feeding another 2A socket. Not cheap though!
-
Did debate this but a mate tried them and couldn't get on with them plus I thought "How hard can it be?" Probably not helped by the first time plastering having come out well. With hindsight etc!
-
I think I might have a copy of Microsoft Project 2000 kicking around come to think of it...
-
I beg to differ. If I don't wait for the 3 big ones to dry I'll upset their position trying to fit the small ones!
-
Me, make a list? Is it: Window Reveal Cut all 26 tiles Stick on or Window Reveal Cut 3 big soffit tiles Stick on Wait to dry Cut 3 small soffit tiles Stick on Wait to dry Cut 5 big left hand tiles Stick on Wait to dry Cut 5 small left hand tiles Stick on Cut 5 big right hand tiles Stick on Wait to dry Cut 5 small right hand tiles Stick on

Hang on, 3A switched outlets...not 5A? Are the "few" "3A" switched sockets on the same radial? Chuck a receiver at the front end and leave them all switched on. Then change the 13A socket (2G?) the other side of the room to a dual or dual plus one box, another receiver and 3A outlet.
-
I'm a bit lost as to what you want tbh (don't worry it's me not you I'm sure). Random thoughts... Quinetic? You could I'm sure feed one receiver from another... ...The 13A plug in receiver should work off a 3A socket just the same...take the guts out and shove in the 3A outlet? https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/QUA313.html?

He finishes on the 14th so then or that weekend. No worries. Such is the life of a jetsetting Sunamp guy! Just debating digging a channel across the floor of the stairs room to the eventual manifolds final resting place. That's going to go down a storm... Snagging list is a good shout. I'll do one later and depress myself! Presumably everyone's seen the "Alexa play Dad's favourite song!" ad when the homesick girl's at uni ? I messaged him the other day; "Alexa, cover the place in dust and lay some random pipes on the floor I can keep tripping over!" Not impressed!
-
Oh yes! It was in use but then I covered it over as a bench / working platform and to protect it. A few days hopefully and I'll have it uncovered ready for tiling

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like A Bathroom... But not from this angle:
-
If I win the Lotto tonight I'm going to have a GSHP just because I've got the land to do so! Wasn't it @Barney12 did one? Or at least laid the pipes? Seem to remember a picture of a digger in/on the edge of a bfo trench... And someone else was in about sinking a loop weighted down with bricks into their lake...?

This one's near me. Guessing English isn't the lads first language. Have to wonder what heating etc he'll have when it goes! https://www.gumtree.com/p/plumbing-central-heating/air-source-heat-pump/1321518960 Maybe he's renting the house!

What would the efficiency of something like this diy air source heat pump? I know a tame fridge guy who can degas / regas:

Easier for vermin to nest in the fluffy stuff isn't it? That's why I pir'd above the bathroom. Figured a nice cold (and drying) breeze across the top would be less attractive. That and I could let the cat have a run around up there everynow and again. Trouble is it's taken me so long the cat's DIED! -

Could he do 160mm of pir instead over the ceiling? -

I'm all for using up off cuts of pir. Wedge/stack like you're building a walk and foam fill all the gaps as the "mortar" between. Dampen the wall edges do the foam sticks better. -
Mind bleach! Can't erase that upskirt reflection!

Always going to be flogging a dead horse with those solid castle walls I reckon. Once cold they stay cold unless you insulate! I've a complete mixture of wall types here, solid brick, solid block, cavity, one single skin. At least I'll be dead before it's all finished! -

Let's be honest here but you well and truely took my Prevarication Crown with all this and argued "I can't!" at every turn. And look how it's all turned out so far! How about this stuff, gets good reviews and good for deep areas. Your Bartoline "cheapo" filler is only good up to 3mm and guessing you haven't much left? If you have though and it's only 4mm I'd do two coats. If none left this: https://www.screwfix.com/p/ronseal-big-hole-ready-mixed-wall-filler-grey-1-2ltr/95289 As for the upstairs pics, looks like we're on this Money Pit house journey together mate! -

If a bit deft with the plastering trowel you could do it with patching plaster. -

You learn to plaster. Like I did. By watching the 4 videos by this bloke: I WISH I'd watched some tiling videos! -

Are you using a coarse enough grit paper? The Mirka comes with a selection of Abranet type sheets but nothing too coarse from memory. Has one of your mice got stuck up the Hoover pipe? -
Same as my one?

Check out the Quinetic LED lights and their Wi-Fi enabled stuff. In theory you can say "Alexa, turn on patio lights!" etc.
