Level tolerance for hardcore under a concrete slab.

Real bodgers add empty 2L Coke bottles if a bit short on the mix...or Coke cans placed upside down...empty beer bottles with the lids whacked back on or lumps of eps, pir etc. I've come across all the above. Lucky none of it was structural...oh hang on, it WAS! Pump up the volume! ? -
Features that are hard to add after the build is finished

Should have, could have, would have added acoustic foam around the bath. Spa feature is pretty noisy. The foam worked a treat around the WC. -

I filled in any slight dips with ballast pre the sand blind. Handy time to get rid of any half bags of plaster, cement etc like in The Great Escape... -
I say young man, in the bog or the YMCA spa?

Ta. Tbh I thought satin had a hint of "sparkle".

Where do we stand on Coke Zero?

The vet usually gets them from him!

If coke/bleach fail then Barkeepers Friend is excellent stuff too btw. I use it occasionally on our cheapest of the cheap, Wickes stainless steel sink. Used it too on an enamelled hob. Really is good stuff. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bar-Keepers-Friend-Surface-Household/dp/B00BLKGJ2G

+1 on the cheapest cola you can find. But....you have to scoop out and dry the water in there before you add the coke. Bleach mixed with baking soda to make a paste that'll cling to the pan sides.

I can hear SWMBO now; "Is that the finished coat?" Tbh the acrylic primer's glossier than this!

Big thanks to @Temp. He's hopefully going to do my headphone repair bits.

This satin paint isn't as "glossy" as I'd hoped. Not sure if it was because I brushed it on then rollered it? Might try a 3rd, roller applied wet coat.

The whitening toothpastes are better for more stubborn marks. There's a charcoal one seems to work well.- 10 replies

All those years of self abuse have got nothing to do with it! Top tip for lightly scratched safety goggles etc.....toothpaste. Rub on neat on a cloth with a few drops of water. Makes a fine cutting paste. Good on scratched CDs too. Don't forget to rinse well.- 10 replies

About the same as my boy's uni rent per month down there.

They won't care. It's a business decision. Whatever shifts most units. Short term gain mindset imho.
-
I won't be doing that. One of the coils in the cylinder splits and you could be cleaning your teeth with the stuff!

@Temp, possibly commission for you. My lad's gaming headphones, need the two piece clamp that goes either side, note they're handed. so 4 pieces in all, whatever material is strongest. Think the info to print is here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2974439 PM me with a price if you fancy giving it a go. Cheers

Meant to say about UV crazing. Painting cable too can be detrimental.

Best image I could find. Really annoys me that the undulations in the orange carrier don't line up properly even with two 5's. You get 10 not 11.
