Do cranes come in various sizes?
Onoff replied to epsilonGreedy's topic in Roofing, Tiling & Slating
There was a lad killed by a stack of falling glass panels. Apparently he undid the brick banding and the whole lot toppled. Now the first one is banded to the transport frame. Second pane gets stacked against it and banding goes around the two. Next panel, banding round three and so on. Ensures only one panel can fall on you at a time. -

Got any tile files? You might be able to file that internal corner squarer.

Dim the lights and divert their view...

This was fun: Back tiles went on first: Then the bottom tile. My bottom tile is at a very slight angle. Then the top tile: Finally the sides: Yellow are 1mm packs.

That'd annoy me, the grout line not being central! ? Nick told me to mitre bond the trim on. Maybe if you're a dab hand but I couldn't get on with it. Ripped it off and stuck new trim on with CT1. I used clear but wished BT1 had been about back then and I'd have used white.

You can get silver CT1... https://www.ffx.co.uk/tools/product/C-Tec-Ct1-Silver-5060209630410-Tube-Sealant-290Ml-Cartridge--Silver

Tenant issue and legal position in HMO

If Tenant X is receiving monetary gain from the new tenant, aren't they in effect sub letting? That surely is is breach of their tenancy agreement? -
...get the blood off etc?

I was randomly doodling and came up with this work in progress for a future, super warm, garden room section. The only thing stopping me going ahead is time, money (£££££ I'd guess) and the probably need for pp that would likely be rejected anyway (AONB)! I've got loads of drawings like this, for numerous projects that'll never happen..... ? I was trying to see if a section was possible using stock heights of timber, pir, plaster board etc without cutting.
-
So in this build up you've a 2 course high void under the wood frame? PIR goes between the floor joists?

It is yes. Been through this on his other thread. What he could do with is an operating manual.

"My cock up!" would have sufficed! ? Presumably you entered the reg incorrectly online? Easily done I guess, small screen, slip of the finger. Then I imagine you get sent online insurance docs etc. If you print them I don't suppose you check them for the fine detail like many. Pretty sure getting a posted insurance cert like in the old days was more likely to be checked. I know I'm going to now! -

Would you be better with a tile type grinding disc i.e not serrated? For example: https://www.screwfix.com/p/marcrist-ck650-tile-cordless-angle-grinder-diamond-tile-blade-115-x-22-23mm/5307R? -

Toolstation and Screwfix also do the tools. Just Google "box rethreader". Or buy an M3.5mm HSS tap off of eBay much cheaper and use with a small tap wrench or epoxy glue into a bit of broom handle. Google "back box lugs" for a multitude of little clip on things for when it's completely stripped and won't rethread. I've often, in the past just rethreaded to M4. -
When I did (& paid for) both fences my neighbours got the arris rail side. They were just happy not to have to fork out and to get rid of the wrinkly tin. My first place was odd that in the old boy who'd had it worked for a landscaping company even after retirement. For years he'd come home with a Co-op bag or two full of top soil. Over many years the garden built up to over a foot deeper than the adjacent properties, held back by the corrugated fence. Had a beautiful rose garden mind. Meant I had to fit 1' gravel boards, 2 deep in some places.

Thanks but don't the bank/building society hold them all the time you're paying a mortgage off? Saying that I've the deeds for one house I paid off. (Thinking I shouldn't still be holding them as I remortgaged).
