Oi ! Fingerist.... Stop it at once (I've only got eight left) ?

And for someone like me who doesn't even know (didn't know) what a ball park is, it's a useful starting point.

Tell me more @SteamyTea. What does the presence of a Victron machine (inverter) show?

Because the law (protocol) requires them to provide full information. Here's chapter and verse. When, (if) the letter comes - be sure to check which protocol is being used. There are a host of charlatan websites offering an LBA for £2 using an out of date protocol. The current protocol is very thorough, and in my opinion, balanced and fair. Most people pay as soon as they get an LBA - even one which uses the out of date protocol. Nothwithstanding @scottishjohn's opinion, I would be inclined to write a very brief letter (requiring proof of delivery) asking for an itemised invoice using the headings given in the quote indictating that as soon as a satisfactory, accurate, itemised invoice is received, you will pay It really is very simple and clear cut. Because @Home Farm's argues the price is not the key issue. HF's concern is that what was asked for might well not to be what was supplied. The fact that the total bill is the same might be a coincidence, or not. Without an itemised invoice the purchaser cannot tell.

It seems simple to me. No acceptable invoice, no payment. Next step: a Letter Before Action from them - that protocol requires both sides to evidence everything. That'll flush them out. Sit back relax.

You are a long way from that yet. You have to have explored all other avenues first.

and The image can't be from both the quotation and the invoice: indeed Can I suggest you ask for an invoice itemised as per the quotation? I faced an exactly similar challenge - repeated refusals to itemise the final invoice as per the quotation - matched by repeated refusals from us to pay until the final invoice was broken into the (formally agreed ) level of detail. 2 years later we are still waiting for a detailed invoice. On asking in person for the detailed invoice, the company owner actually said: "I don't see why I should" You couldn't make it up.

The image might have come from a quotation? Might that explain the hiccup?

Thanks for the recognition of the effort we have made in helping you. Getting shirty (as you describe it) works only in very limited circumstances, and once you've ripped your shirt off and stamped on it, there's not a great deal left to do. The trouble with doing that often is the same as swearing too much. It switches people's sympathy off. It reduces sensitivity. And so lowers our capacity to help you. State the problem briefly. Stick to facts. Shows us documentary evidence - documents, images, sketches, video. Use emojis to help us know about your mood. Use the smallest number of words possible to accurately describe the issue : if in doubt cut. Thats not an easy task.

Storm. Tea cup. Is sounding like sufficient evidence to ask the planner to do something? -

What have you really lost: I mean, really, really lost? Teachers all over the Internet have taken and used my resources and Debbie's (SWMBO) and used them - often. Hours and hours worth of our own work. Shrug and forget. The time'll come when you can drop it into the conversation: 'til then, head down. -

Building on the content of this topic on connecting LED strip lighting drivers to the mains, a little bird whispered in my ear, loud enough for me to worry ( - overthink - Ok @Russell griffiths ? ) about where I can / should / may /may not / would / could / oughtn't to / may / am permitted to place the drivers. You know, those things that are called drivers, but are transformers really. Thinking about fire regulation, are there any rules where they may not be placed ? Of course, it makes sense to place them in an accessible place for maintenance reasons - but what about ceiling spaces where sound insulation might increase their working temperature. Can I bury one in some of the over-abundance of insulation that exists in my front wall?

Dog saliva is antibacterial: for a dog's withers, nothing cleans better than a good lick. Having once been nearly killed by feline oral flora, I'm pretty loath to be licked by anything on four legs.
