I’ve been leafing through documents and low and behold found letter from spatial planning from a few years back. Actual wording is ‘ Adoption of Local List of Historic Buildings Statement Supplementary Planning Document’ I am not going to be altering the main house in any way but want to try and get PP for a part of the garden to build a small house. Will it be worth forking out a load of money to get the process started or is the likelihood I’ll get knocked straight back? ’

Hi We have had some drawings sketched to look at before going ahead and trying for pp. We’ve been advised that it’s prob. a good idea to clear some trees and level the plot beforehand so we’ll be in a better position for stuff to be granted. Tree people have been in and mapped out roots etc etc. already. Do you think it’s necessary to prep the land if we just went for Outline? Am very much a newbie and just trying to weigh up things.
