  13. I seem to remember Nick saying that they require no parts to convert to LPG, just turn the adjuster screw on the gas valve and stick a sticker on to say its running 37mbar, I'm sure he'll be around later and confirm it.
  14. We had a couple of prices for Spanish slate, SSQ Del Prado £1.48, and SSQ Del Carmen Standard £1.47 or First £1.60, but this would mean going back to the planners, so we are going to use Sandtoft Rivius a very realistic slate alternative.

Seems on the high side to me, I've had 5 quotes so far for alu clad 3g, 43sqm glazing comprising 17 windows 3.4 & 3.0 meter sliders and 2 doors Internorm 23,200, 29,700 fitted Katzbeck 22,150 Gaulhofer 26,300 + 6k fitting Velfac 17,200 ideal combi 16,500 Going to have a look at Hon windows, sold through DSL in Truo next week but will probably go with Internom ,they are just so nice and the good lady likes them as well and that's priceless

  19. I saw an ad in a magazine for something called flexigas, semi-rigid stainless steel flexible gas pipe tubing,should do the job I think,but I'm no plumber.
  20. Thanks all Jane if your dealing with Torridge I feel your pain. Alphonsox what swung the appeal probably had something to do with the mindless refusal which was "The development is reliant on a car to access services and is therefore considered to be environmentally unsustainable resulting in additional CO2 emissions" and "The horizontal emphasis of the fenestration is out of character with the village" The house is almost to passive standard the car journey to town 2.2miles and the village has just about a bit of everything when it comes to architecture, planning inspectorate agreed after he read through the mountain of stuff I include in the appeal. Happy days

  22. Topcret make a product called Baxab, 2mm polished concrete which they say ensures a 120N/mm2 surface hardness whatever that means in the real world.
