Thermals are the norm, fur coat is tricky. Tends to make me wheeze. My sister has my mother's old mink coat. If asked in the street, by a total stranger, if it is real, her reply is "yes, do you have a problem with that". Mt normal reply is "do you know how women get minx: the same way minx get minx" Usually defuses the situation. -

Had a look at the last full week I was here. 18.6 kWh, so 2.7 kWh/day. I think that is the lowest I have every used. -

Which Hot Water cylinder for Pellet Boiler

In a lab. Bet it breaks the WHO guidelines in everyday usage (5 μg/m3 for PM2.5 and 15 μg/m3 for PM10). It is fudged by allowing a higher limit for 24 hours. -

I wish everyone read their meters. Would make life so simple for everyone. On a more general note about estimated bills. Now a lot of people have smart meters, why don't the energy companies off the chance to pay a twelfth of the previous years usage, OR, pay what you actually owe. I know some cheapskates will get into trouble come the winter, but they will probably be in trouble anyway (and I am paying an extra 25p a day to bail them out). -

Generally, with highly polluting burners like these, it is normal to put a lot of energy, in as short a time, into a thermal store. Then draw what you need from that. The calculation are fairly basic, just your needs divided by the power input. -
23 kWh you (expletive deleted)ign retard.

Is that similar to 420 friendly and likes O. I like changing the SSID on my mobile when I am in a cafe.

Heating & hot water for temporary accommodation
SteamyTea replied to SuesieG's topic in Boilers & Hot Water Tanks
But Unless it is not going to be connected until the house is finished. 200 Lt cylinder best and a 3 kW element at the base. With that much PV, probably get DHW all year round. -
I am confused with that unit. 10 (OK) k (OK) W (OK) h (hour, or 3600 seconds) day (24 h or 86,400 seconds). So 10kW x (3600 / 86400) = 0.417 kW I would expect more from a 4 kWp system this time of year. 50% more.
