  1. The weather's been dry and warm for a while now so I thought I'd take advantage and finally finish the front garden. The paving went well and it didn't take long laying the turf and it's easier cutting grass than weeding! We added some tubs with lavender to finish off. I'll have to finish the bathroom now, no more excuses.

  2. Considering two turbines. Each with built in dumpload and it’s own immersion. Brutal simplicity Oh you boys...talking all technical. I might Google dumpload and immersion but not at the same time or I'll be arrested. Never mind the bloody multiple jets too

  3. Check that the condensate trap is clean and you can confirm it runs freely to drain. Download the manufacturers service guide for details. Sometimes the whistling noise can be caused by the condensate trap being blocked and the heat exchanger getting waterlogged. I can ring their technical support if you want ? What kw is it ? Can you post the GC number of the boiler data plate ? It'll be in the book ( installation guide ) that came with it

  4. You don't need a Completion Certificate to reclaim VAT. Other forms of evidence such as proof of entry on Valuation Roll (for council tax) or a letter from a bank / building society confirming release of final stage payment secured against the building. Detailed in the guidance notes. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/vat-refunds-for-diy-housebuilders-claim-form-and-notes-for-conversions-vat431c

  5. That looks like the immersion that's sticking out. Mine are 60mm proud of the tank, so you might be OK. Close though!

  6. Ok in that case my one has the standard bayonet fitting on the wall, from this a standard flexible hose proper cooker one not the silly orange bbq stuff, this is solid fixed to the back of the cooker with a straight threaded connection. If i was doing this I would take off the orange hose and chuck it, look at the entry point on the oven and measure thread diameter, it will be fairly standard, go to your local plumbers merchant and get black flexible pipe and ask for a fitting to go from that to the oven, get the correct tape/ adhesive for lpg and connect it all up, check very thoroughly for leaks with soapy water.
