Russell griffiths Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Did anybody do a kitchen design yourselves, looking for a programme or app. Ta very much.
Bramco Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 IKEA Then if you want to throw money away take that to someone with a flash showroom... Simon
Mr Punter Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 I do my own but just use a drawing program (CorelDraw). Paper and ruler also works!
ProDave Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Howdens, with some pre conceived ideas to start the ball rolling.
eandg Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Ikea and DIY Kitchens (who have a slightly different range of unit sizes to Ikea) - though you need to request access for the latter.
Russell griffiths Posted February 4, 2021 Author Posted February 4, 2021 Thanks all, got the usual suspects doing drawings I just wanted to have a play myself.
MrSniff Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 I drew up our initial thoughts using the planning tool on nobilia.de before going through it with the kitchen company we ended up using. The planning tool is good, but although the website has an English option, this doesn’t extend to the planner (Google Translate is a friend!) 1

Russdl Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 I tried various, ended up back with SketchUp. Can't beat it imho. 1
Gone West Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 Sheet of graph paper and a pencil to work out a rough layout and then put in the online Nolte App. It was along time ago though so the app may have changed. https://www.nolte-kuechen.com/en-gb/kitchen-planning 1
Nev76 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Best one ive used so far is ArtiCad kitchen designer. I have a kitchen nd bathroom business so its defo worth the sub that comes with it. Also, i offer free CAD designs to anyone that may possibly buy a kitchen from us. We do supply only as well as fitting. Many people give us rough drawings/sketches and ask for plans to be drawn up from them which we can do. We have free basic tools on our website also that let you play around with different colours/features. We use two as shown below: https://manchesterkitchens.com/online-kitchen-planner/ https://manchesterkitchens.com/kitchen-design-tool/
