UFH design

Evening peeps. 

Can I have a few suggestions as to who will design my ufh and supply materials, not interested in install, just the parts. 

 

I also believe @PeterW told me about a computer design thingy, but it has been so long since I last thought about this I haven’t a clue what it was called.

I used theunderfloorsuperstore. They provided the design and supply for ufh, DHW and Ashp.

LoopCad is the software. Free trial for a month.

Alternatively the likes of Wunda will design for £50.

I made the wrong choice and faffed around with LoopCad for far too long!

Does wunda supply the drawings or just the spec?

Wunda did mine and sent the drawings.

Most places will do a spec (ie 8 port manifold 800m pipe etc) free of charge and then supply the drawings after you buy the material, but if wunda will supply spec and drawings for £50 and you are free to shop around I think this a pretty good deal.

Wunda did ours and supplied parts. Happy customer no connection.

I used a program called @Nickfromwales.....and AutoCAD...

Does anybody know if you get a pipe choice with a wunda design, I would like to use an al pex type pipe

or are we saying pay the £50 to wunda and buy you parts elsewhere.

Choice of Pex-Al and Pert-Al at Wunda

Happy customer of Wunda, their design and parts and when a mistake was made very quick to put it right. The only mod I made was running pipes through internal walls rather than crowding doorways with loads of pipe.
