CCTV not working after internet provider change

What an awesome technician! 🙄 It’s really hard to tell the issue from what you’ve posted . You really need the IP address of the camera and nvr . That would help . Log into your router ( 192.168.8.1 as a GUESS ) - then you can see what’s connected . If you connect to your Internet via your laptop - from that you can find your router address - this is what we really need assuming my guess is wrong ! -
Single radiator not getting hot at all

Have you bled it ? ( forgive if that’s obvious ) . You then might need to re pressurise the boiler ( assuming a combi ) -

I had an original Logitech squeezebox player ( remember those ) . Loved it ! . Much later I heard about the raspberry pi version of this as Logitech had shut up shop on the player but had let Logitech media server be open source . Thought I would stick the original player on eBay and get maybe 20 quid for it . Actually sold it for more than I bought it for ! . So some people will buy the ‘obselete ‘ version so they can extend their eco system by delaying ‘upgrading’ . -

I’m not knocking any locked in system or anyone that goes that route . Just not for me . Didn’t know Sonos reverted on that . So is all Sonos ( old and new ) able to work freely together ? . As an ex software engineer I appreciate fully backwards compatibility becomes more and more a pain . -
I always liked the real challenge ones ( not I’ve enough money to make a mega curved roof because I can ) - a water tower one I thought was inspirational. Don’t watch it now - enough woke , snowflake stuff around already .

Ubiquiti Cloud key confusion !

The problem with a bought in ecosystem is that ignoring price ( though their ip cameras are hideously expensive for what they are ) . There’s nothing stopping UniFi at a later date deciding ‘protect 2 ultra ‘ is not backward compatible. Then you are effectively either running hardware that will become unsupported or spend a packet replacing . I recall Sonos doing something similar - Sonos owners who had bought into their system were somewhat upset . My view is to be largely manufacturer agnostic and also ‘current flavour ‘ free to choose I.e zigbee , z wave , matter , WiFi etc etc . -

Yeah I happened to come across grandstream but it’s an unfamiliar brand . Their video doorbell looks very industrial bit like doorbird . You can buy one and let me know what it’s like 😊 -

Nope I’m not sure . Was talking to someone online who said it would be ok . I’m leaving this UniFi system alone . If I spend hundreds and buy a dream machine ( whatever ) then clearly I’d be alright . She ain’t worth it Tracey ! -

UniFi eco system is a bit of a mess I think ! -
Yes . I guess maybe to stop confusing to the other threaded end . But @ProDave when the action is on you ain’t gonna care if it’s screw or ribbed 😉

Apparently a UniFi express will solve my issues I.e cheapest option … -
The end goes into a rubber trap . That then has a reducing rubber which takes it down to 21mm pipe . The mvhr came with all this - so obviously I just used it . Making another seems more trouble than it’s worth . I’ve sourced everything else just this fitting .
-
So the ribbed one is called a 32mm Female Inlet Nut x 1.1/4" inch BSP Male Connector McAlpine 90° Bend - S4U Ordered one and will see if I can bodge it to fix .
-
Could always file the ribs off I suppose . Or just fill the rib gaps with ct1 ? The fitting this end goes into is rubber so assume would fit with a push
-
Yep - I found that . Wasn’t keen on 50 quid for the lot ! Screwfix do something similar but ribbed again
-
It came with the mvhr - I need another . It’s the drain vent outlet . So screws into that then smooth end slides into water less flexible trap .
-
I thought this would be easy to find. presumably I don't know exactly what it is called. Screw fitting is 32mm So it's an elbow but the thread is reversed i.e. it screws upwards. So like a 90degree conversion bend but screws upwards ( hope that makes sense ) I looked at threaded elbow drain threaded elbow 32mm elbow can't seem to find it... Nearest I've found is this https://www.bes.co.uk/polypipe-32-mm-white-threaded-coupling-solvent-11867/ or maybe this? https://www.toolstation.com/mcalpine-compression-bsp-connections-bend-90/p62086?store=null&utm_source=googleshopping&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=googleshoppingfeed&mkwid=_dc&pcrid=null&pkw=null&pmt=null&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD-vLcVa5oxgpUmv6KLSvo8W1HJDI&gclid=CjwKCAiA0rW6BhAcEiwAQH28IpW2puBtiAGeNWUHrUg0QczTpzLtjOM2H1swydNIFvQ9tGmzuqwRIhoCJEQQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds Assume the 'ribbed' end isn't an issue... could stick rubber washers over it I guess... What is it called!
