    Though my ceiling system isn’t the same it’s similar . I just chucked one down the centre of the room and then did the required distance from that to the next run . Distance from wall didn’t care ; no sagging etc is all I cared about .

    Nope. I didn't fit it. There is no handle the otherside ( opening from outside is either finger scanner or key ).

    Just in time for Xmas. Come and visit then NEVER escape! Problem is even with grub screw out handle won't budge off the plate. Plate also feels 'loose'....

    Boring primitive (expletive deleted)s on this site . So the hardware is pretty much comparable to Alexa . Software not there yet . About to link into LLM and generative AI. So when door cam sees SWMBO can say “ an agitated female with a knife is approaching the door “

    The problem I found ( with tenants ) is if say a trv drops off the network then you need to attend to add it back in ; I.e guests won’t do it . Also anything battery powered can be an issue . If you live nearby then less of an issue .

    Or I suppose if you have home assistant anyway you could just grab trv’s , actuators , thermostats etc yourself - cheap as chips from AliExpress etc .

    I have used geniushub on some properties for years . Worth looking into that also .

    Don’t think so . Before my issues they were horizontal ( with a slight fall ) . That worked fine for 4 yrs . Also 1 set were supplied with the mvhr and the 90 goes straight to the drain outlet - so assumption is ( as supplied by vent axia ) that it’s ok .

    This turned into a pita . Trying to get both traps to run towards the wall and into a tee . Just wasn’t going to happen . Not enough space . So took the not so dignified approach ( open to ridicule for sure ) and made the traps run towards me - easier for sure .
