  1. Erm ; ordered it will find out ?
  2. Good website. The filters especially helpful. Ordered something more expensive but 'trendy'!
  3. Ouch £12 delivery!
  4. Hey all, The builder has left me a standard light 'drop' in my loft bedroom. It's too low (ceiling height is restrictive anyway). So I purchased from ebay ( yeah I know! ) a nice shallow LED light for £10. Quite frankly I'd be afraid to install that in my house let alone a tenanted one! So I'm looking for a recommendation for something that doesn't look like it was made cheap in China; and conforms to UK regs. Any respectable lighting companies to recommend? Cheers
  5. It was the ebay link you gave. Yeah it's loose as anything no friction at all. Not happy to have a 'join' anyway. @ProDave think that might be a better idea; will remove it tomorrow - happier I think with 1 continuous pipe....
  6. Got that extension pipe suggested . Fit is way to slack !!! The ‘ribbed’ section of the hose goes in - I *assume* the next section is aswell ?? ( impossibly tight ; even with a bit of fairy ?‍♀️ on it ) . So guess that ain’t right . Presumably I need something else ???
  7. Be renting it out I reckon when it’s done !
  8. True
  9. Gold Prosecco!
  10. Most probably with a plastic waste like that . Builder did this ( not the plumber for the uvc ) . Cheap and cheerful !
  11. It's got a blank in
  12. I guess that’s possible . Could test it ? Guess it saves the manufacturer 20p ?
  13. Thanks ! Funnily enough I noticed that about the sink overflow . For reasons unknown only the left sink has a overflow slot - not the right ....
  14. Hey all ! So builder has left me this . Not sure how I’m meant to connect the dishwasher output into this . Also the dishwasher pipe will be too short - how do I extend ? cheers in advance
  15. ????????? ££££££££££££££££££££ where ?
  16. Yeah I think that was it Said it was the best ( presumably expensive also ! )
  17. Think he said some mastic perma iko Apparently you can create a fall with it also !
  18. Don’t know . Didn’t really chat him up ; mid 40’s I guess . I’ve got his phone number if you want to sweet talk him ?
  19. Also , which I didn’t realise the hot bitumen isn’t bonded to the concrete ! ? This was to allow for any movement and prevent cracking . As for the parking area he said cover in polythene and just cement pavers ontop . He did indicate UV was the biggest problem ; but as mine is entirely covered not an issue .
  20. Now you mention it - that’s almost exactly what he stated !!!! ? Only difference would be the upstand ( still have the fillet ) would be thinner otherwise walk on glass frames won’t fit . That was his suggestion.
  21. He did say all this . But I confess can’t remember exact detail . Have to wait until I get it in writing...
  22. Well ! SIG have been @Onoff deserves some brownie points ! Hot bitumen pour seems to be the solution .....
  23. Without getting political.... This pack reminds me of Brexit . Lots of promises but fails to deliver . Ultimately wish you never asked for it ( this pack I mean , I voted remain ) . ?
  24. Yeah done that . Green light always on It did appear to work a few days ago . Now it’s just a rubbish torch ?
  25. Oh yeah ! Now I also notice the blade has fallen out from the quality cable stripper . So ! In this bargain pack you have ... A crimper that doesn’t crimp A tester that doesn’t test A cable stripper that doesn’t strip Come in a nice case though !
