  1. Spec states " Provide and lay IKO permatec holt melt membrane to primed screed by others Finish with anti rot mineral finish"
  2. I’ll check the spec Before this felt ( only seen it today and no one there now ) . They were boiling up ‘stuff’ and blow torching it on . Is asphalt jet black ?
  3. I don’t know . The guys told me the hot bitumen is the waterproof layer . The asphalt is purely for protection. I did think it was going to be seamless . Still if it doesn’t leak and I get my 25 yr warranty - then it’s good .
  4. £25 from my BM £8 on eBay . Just wait until I go back in there ?

  18. Does it work? Does it F....... IMG_8940.mp4
  19. Well! Got it working but not sure how/why. After messing around I finally removed the main devolo plug from the extension lead. As it can't be plugged directly into the socket (the socket is installed up side down) I plugged it into ANOTHER extension lead on it's own. WORKS! (I think ).
  20. Thanks man!. That means a lot !
  21. Primed and ready to go !
  22. Yet but your bathroom has cost 60k ! ?
  23. Going to mount my walk on glass in a vertical frame and make a ‘rustic’ front door ?
  24. My response was based off my experience. If the build exactly matches the drawings then yes it’s all perfect . If the contractor messes up even off accurate plans then their fault .
  25. You are wrong. The fact it's based on my experience - shows it is real advice. Not what I think but what I expereienced. Take the timber frame. I measured it to get a quote. The company then measured it "properly". When it was delivered was wrong!. But they measured it wrong not me. Imagine if that had been the other there way around - liability would of been with me. I'm probably going to have 40k worth of glass. If a company ( after my initial measurements ) can't be bothered to send a sales rep to measure ( so they accept liability ) ; then I'm not going to risk 40k. You could argue measuring for windows is a much simpler thing i.e. the size of the hole. Quite probably if you measured yourself all would be good.
