  1. Roofer looked at all this before said it wasn’t an issue . He also suggested the screed to falls . i’ll try to get him back out to take a look ...
  2. Here we are You can see the lowest upstand with and without the frame . Too be fair his screeding is like perfect !!
  3. Yes . But only on the centre section where you park . Stilted tiles everywhere else I.e around walk on glass
  4. Actually that might be a dumb idea and cause other issues . i did consider raising all the up stands but then the gates would also need a rising hinge or something to clear the driveway !! ?
  5. Hey @Onoff ! Suppose I fitted this 1 walk on glass frame before the bitumen . Could he bitumen too it ? Essentially embed it in the bitumen ? . Then he could fillet away from it on each side . Hope that makes sense !?
  6. I’ll grab one tomorrow. This front deck has been a nightmare!
  7. Right ! SIG guy recommended roofer . Roofer guy recommended guy to screed a fall . The screed has been done ; I can’t walk on it but looks to be a proper job . Problem is 1 up stand in particular is low - real low . Maybe just 20mm above the screed . Bearing in mind hot bitumen has to go ontop the screed so the upstand will be even lower . I know upstands are meant to be a min of 150mm but that was always impossible in this situation . I could timber across all the upstands to raise them before the bitumen . But then I’ll be much higher than the house damp course and much higher than the street entrance way . ? Trying to think how to make a ‘feature ‘ out of a raised corner ( stilted tiles sitting around glazing ) . Or just not worry - see what happens . The screed does look spot on fall wise so perhaps it’s less of an issue than I imagine . Just when it’s meant to be 150mm and I will struggle to get 15mm I worry .
  8. A bit too much from the police report I read ...
  9. Yeah he likes his nuts ...
  10. It’s nearly Xmas ! Drink some wine eat some snitzel and let it go ?
  11. Cheers ! Will explore !
  12. Managed to get one of these bloody things out !!
  13. Hey all So got these pull cord curtain rails ( hate things like this ) . One of the slider bits that the curtain hooks to is broke . Its the one beyond the bit of plastic in the rail that drags everything else to open and close . So I need a new slidey bit ( technical term ! ) . Can’t see any way though you get that bit out though to remove broken bits and replace . Forgive useless description!!!
  14. Jan 4th now for hearing
  15. Fitting a large enough cold accumulator may be an issue I.e where . Might the option be to drop the electric shower and just have mixer like the others ? . I wanted one electric shower originally as a fail safe in case uvc failed .
  16. Builders looked again. One of their suggestions was to tee off 15mm first from the water main coming in direct to the electric shower. I can't see a reason this wouldn't work (water pressure is good) ; then the electric shower has 'priority' over everything else. This a good plan ? ; better/worse than pressurised accumulator exclusively for shower??
  17. I did exactly that. I was more worried that the BT hub having wifi enabled might restrict /penalise AP access but guess not. Renamed 'do not use wifi' which means tenants will try of course. :-)))) Just gone around the house with my phone connected and seen it 'switch' as I roam - so happy!!!
  18. It would seem bt hub 6 cannot be put into 'modem' mode :-((( I *assume* thesis of no issue if no-one connects to it? i.e. just used the AP's???
  19. I thought you didn't *have* to have a controller!? (just using my mac) As if by magic 1 has adopted! ( no idea why it's working now apart from me swearing at it) 2nd is no 'provisioning' - I'm guessing thats a good sign! Cheers
  20. Struggling with this Have a BT hub 6 and 2 unify access points (only 1 plugged in ). Can't 'adopt' it. Also it would seem hub 6 can't go into 'modem' mode. Will the matter? (assuming I sort out this adoption issue first) - can people just connect to the AP and ignore the hub 6 wifi . ARGH! not exactly plug 'n' play Any help from unifi people appreciated
  21. Not another porno ! ???
