  1. The window fitters did an ok job . As you can see they scuffed the trim which is not removable. As I clad across the front and meet their sill ; appears to be a few mm out . So I’m looking for suggestions of how I ‘cover’ this all up to look neat . Part of the problem with all this cladding and trim is that it’s virtually ( impossible! ) to cut it perfectly with no ‘torn’ ends . Be nice to ‘overlay’ the sill with another to hide the mess - but how an earth can I cut that spot on ? ( especially if assuming steel )
  2. Awesome ! Will order one ?
  3. Sure . But what do I use to build the ply level up ? So it’s level with the screed .
  4. Yes @nod please confirm . So SBR ply Then Ardex to level ply with screed : which Ardex product ? Then when all dry de coupling mat on top.
  5. Yes . The pipe I’m using as an example is solvent weld . I’ll try and get a push fit pipe ; as a small diameter . Assuming that works still want to ‘convert’ as soon as I can go solvent weld . Presumably I’ll need some form of compression joint that will take 40mm and 43mm ? I.e compression pipe in , solvent weld pipe out .
  6. Here are the photos As you can see rubber ring in fitting no problem . Around pipe - it’s just not going to fit - this can’t be right can it ? ( pipe is 42mm )
  7. F * ck no
  8. Probably get taken down ; but I’m bored
  9. Single finger one even better
  10. My toilet cistern will fill quicker ! ?
  11. P I s s. O f f
  12. Ah ! But in theory my 15mm bath should fill quicker ?✊
  13. Don’t care ! Mines the biggest
  14. I must show a picture of mine - I must !! 15mm for everything
  15. Still don’t like the supplied tee . With no pipe in it the rubber washer sits fine . Around the pipe it won’t actually screw in . Just doesn’t seem right . Will stick up some photos soon .
  16. In a house I have a panel that just monitors ‘break glass’ alarms not smoke etc . Panel now keeps giving a fault on the ground floor where there are 2 break glass alarms ( at the front door and rear ) . This happened a few months ago aswell . Electrician checked it and tightened wires in panel - was all good for a bit . Happened now twice in 3 days . I thought maybe the vibration of a door slamming could trigger it but apparently not . Any ideas welcome
  17. The supplied tee is not solvent weld
  18. It’s over a steel beam with a concrete beam next to it - not sure I can reach underneath for access - which I don’t like . I’ll break out the block around it and gain as much access from underneath as I can
  19. Lol . That was just a test piece of pipe I grabbed - that was just lying around
  20. 42mm not 32mm pipe .
  21. Getting near the point I have to install this . The trap unfortunately sits over a steel beam so I’ll need to fit It to the tray before I install . First question . Loads of contradictions online . Bed shower tray in sand/cement or tile adhesive ? . Does it really matter ? - some claim sand/cement can crack . Here’s the supplied waste . The 32mm pipe doesn’t seem to fit nicely into fitting . The black rubber washer cannot fully compress on tightening . Just feels a bit unreliable....
  22. Nope ! I always leave a mess !
  23. Of course ! . You are right ! . Why do I buy any other materials other than ct1 I don’t know !!
  24. Ahhh ! . Ok . Tile adhesive to ‘level’ it will only be a few mm thick . Not going to crack or anything is it ? Guess I should pva the marine ply before applying the adhesive?
