  1. Tomorrow I will prove my potential stupidity- place your bets ...
  2. There’s literally about 8 “ how to install “ guides with the taps .
  3. Now I’m sat here thinking if I’ve been a k n o b . Please no-one quote that and answer yes ! Is it possible I had the shroud pipe up the wrong way ? . So the shroud threaded end goes into whatever bolts it to the floor . The non threaded end goes upto the tap - leaving the tap thread free for a connection . It’s possible . I only looked at them once ... Erm , amateur error !! maybe ..... ??
  4. Yes ! This is what I think I discovered!!! Will grab photos of the shrouds tomorrow.
  5. Not looked at the waste mechanism . The instructions come with a multitude of install options. This was sold as a floor mounted bath filler i.e. in the showroom the 'deck' taps are on the shrouds. Haven't got the bath yet - so that's a separate issue. I think I need to look at the shrouds again next time on site. I *assumed* you just screw a compression joint onto that thread - then run a pipe ( copper/hep2o whatever ) down inside the shroud.....
  6. Hmmmmmm, I'm still confused. The shroud screws up over the thread. So a compression fitting just goes in the tap pipe end????
  7. Right ! Seller has got back to me ! Apparently it has to be copper going up through the shroud to add stability then a compression joint into the actual tap . Bum - I want to Hep2o everything ! Photo of taps to follow later - then direction to exactly what compression valve I need + copper ( I always use Jtm plumbing - bum raise they like helping idiots ! ) Then I presume below the floor - copper to Hep2o
  8. Feel almost like a pro today !
  9. Ah ok - wasn’t going to change the hot to 10mm - bit late for that
  10. Now I’m sure everyone told me 15mm min !! ?
  11. I certainly have a BIG one ??
  12. True , but Linux is derived from Unix Lets not forget GNU !
  13. It means I can isolate any single thing easily . Essentially there is a seperate cold and hot water pipe to everything . It means no joints . But more pipe and not fun to thread all of it through . I’ve done exactly the same with wiring . So a radial lighting cable and socket cable to each room . For diy ‘er this makes sense ?
  14. Seller said they had some news for me regarding the taps . Couldn’t get hold of them today . So was waiting on their ‘news’ ....
  15. To simpletons ? . Pie and mash people . Troglodytes. ?
  16. You should try iPhone development- you are locked in to the Apple Eco system 100%. Jobs was a master of selling . He made computers not just that nerdy box - but something cool and desirable. A few companies try to copy this ethos - Tesla for example . Most fail , because they don’t really understand it . It’s not just marketing it’s a desirable , aspirational product I.e unlike Android sh*t ??
  17. @Onoff posting it once was enough ; probably an Android F’up
  18. Suck it up Android boy ! ?
  19. Be really really nice or really really horrible . Works for me ! Discount king !
  20. Mine; but there is a catch... you have to buy some walk on glazing for 50k to get the EV for 11p
  21. 11p will get an EV next year but not a Tesla....
  22. F rocking protagonistic vandals ! I hope all your showers piss water through your ceiling tonight !
  23. There !!
