  5. Going to foam it . There’s no draft or sign of daylight - so not ‘open’ - but if I can get my hand in there it’s to big !!
  6. Not really looked at the fixings of the door frame until now . Does seem a bit of a gap at the top ! - tempted to foam the gap ( between frame and the rubber seal )
  7. membrane is there on outer timber frame . No need for service void - I’ve put in everything I could think of .
  8. Here’s a better view . My osb is short - but don’t care about that . At the other it’s pretty level - so is a warped timber
  9. It would appear the timber frame is out a bit - warped timber aswell . If I plasterboard this area as it is ; just naturally pulls to the warped angle . What’s the best thing to do here ? Can I ‘pack out’ the plasterboard to get it level ??

  13. I can’t afford it either . As someone else said ‘leasing’ is the game . I hate cars anyway as the devalue so fast ....
  14. Nah . Leasing the batteries always seemed like a bad idea . All in now . I love it ! - but then again I’m comparing it to a smart car ....
  15. Zoe is where it’s at ?
  16. Should I mention I’m half underground?? Don’t want them not being told that to use it as an excuse for not paying out
  17. As I’m nearing the point we will be moving in what buildings insurance should I look for? Structurally it’s complete but assume a ‘regular’ buildings insurer would have a problem with the project not being signed off and complete ....
  18. You won’t like the answer but you could go underground and ‘garden’ across that section ...... ?
  19. A dremel and a lot of time
  20. Ordered ???
  21. The sink has no overflow . Should I just ‘fill’ the overflow connection on the strainer ? ( cap it somehow )
  22. I bought a very cheap sink . Assumed it would have have drainer and plug . But of course not ! . The hole seems rather large - 9cm ; this standard ? . What type of drain fits this ??
