  1. Taking some of the advice on here . I boarded past the corner . Cut it back with a multi tool then a quick file over it . I presume this is better as a supported corner ?
  2. Ever seen his woodwork?. Its shite!
  3. No worries . I’m a bit like Jesus tbh . But not quite . Bet he never tiled or put up plasterboard - lazy (expletive deleted) . Heard his woodworking skills were shit also
  4. Yeah but what f wit lasers and screws exactly ? . I just shot gun everywhere- no messing ! OCD is for tiling not screw positions !
  5. Coooorrrr I want that !
  6. Obviously mines the Dewalt boy ...
  7. I osb ‘d everything so I get my gun and screw like a mad bitch
  8. I’d rather the plasterer ‘prep’ it all . Don’t want to make it worse .... See what he says Thursday ?
  9. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Stanley-Metal-Surform-Block-Plane/dp/B0001IWCXE/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=plasterer+surform&qid=1615393593&sr=8-5 Block or flat ????
  10. Found this. Definitely rougher... ? Makes mine look ace!
  11. I am a bit special you know that!. @joe90 has sent me a number for a plasterer. I might email him some pic's first so he knows to double the price anyway.
  12. Then they up the price!
  13. Exactly. That's why I'm paying him. It's his skill I need not mine ?
  14. All trades get bought a coffee , doughnut , pasty and sandwich . This stops any complaints....
  15. Corners were meant to overlap and be neat - oh well “ plasterer can deal with that “ .?
  16. Plasterer will love filling/taping the (many) joints ...
  17. Just for you ... I did call DIY SOS - but they thought I was taking the piss
  18. Have decided I much prefer tiling to plasterboarding . Though I have been saying a lot today “ Plasterer can deal with that “ .... Plasterer will need a sense of humour ?
  19. Going to foam it . There’s no draft or sign of daylight - so not ‘open’ - but if I can get my hand in there it’s to big !!
  20. Not really looked at the fixings of the door frame until now . Does seem a bit of a gap at the top ! - tempted to foam the gap ( between frame and the rubber seal )
  21. membrane is there on outer timber frame . No need for service void - I’ve put in everything I could think of .
  22. Here’s a better view . My osb is short - but don’t care about that . At the other it’s pretty level - so is a warped timber
  23. It would appear the timber frame is out a bit - warped timber aswell . If I plasterboard this area as it is ; just naturally pulls to the warped angle . What’s the best thing to do here ? Can I ‘pack out’ the plasterboard to get it level ??
