  1. This going to be finished before Xmas ? ?
  2. Thanks. Not sure that's right for Tesla batteries. You can have 3 per phase AFAIK. If my DNO wants to limit my export I'm happy with that. Can I ask what the "export limit device" cost?. I have managed to get a different company to come and do a survey/inspection they've not quibbled over I am single phase and already have 1 Tesla battery; so assume they don't think that's an issue.
  3. Decoupling Mat for certain if tiling floor
  4. +1 and across a doorway , typical . I have the same
  5. You get get an electric shower that uses gravity from the tank to feed it . Out at the moment a link not easy . @Nickfromwales knows what you want .
  6. Don’t need much height . Mount directly above shower . Enough ceiling height though ???
  7. Sounds like a dog ! Must be somewhere to stick a cold tank and ‘pump’ to showers . Ceiling height in bathroom/ ensuite not high enough for a narrow long tank ? ( seen these whilst abroad )
  8. I needed 5 showers to run simultaneously. 4 off a big uvc . But it couldn’t manage 5 . So the main bathroom shower is electric fed off a cold header tank . Noisy but works ( also if uvc fails still a working shower available ) To clarify it’s a specific type of electric shower that plumbs to a header tank I.e not mains fed .
  9. This is important. I had tenants once fill the loft with crap and put a duvet over the electrics …. Needless to say we almost had a fire ……
  10. Yes ! Can you finish the other jobs please ? ( your SWMBO asked me to say that )
  11. I’m ok with the tv doing that . The mirrors on the ceiling put me off … Anyway now for ps5 with hdmi 2.1 !!!
  12. It's ok. I went and looked back at this. Although I can only support the TV from 2 screws (it's sat on ridge feet so won't slip ) there is an adjustment that isn't obvious but gave some extra height. All good now!
  13. Yep. That's how it is supplied. No other fittings. I'll email the bed manufacturer - but in the meantime is there not something I can purchase???
  14. Got my TV bed ( it's lush ); got a nice HDMI 2.1 tv. Problem is the lift mechanism doesn't line up very well with the 4 holes for mounting on the TV. Currently I have this which is too high; i.e the TV can't lower enough into the bed carcas. The horizontal mount on the bed at the rear can move up and down but not enough either way. I really need to mount the tv lower. I *presume* there's some vesa/bracket thing I can purchase to allow this? ( I'm guessing it could just be 2 vertical metal strips????)
  15. You need walk on glazing for sure
  16. Push hard enough it will fit ; you know that ?
  17. Plastic bag over the roll . Do your stuff ( with friends or not. ) . Remove said bag and clean up mess
  18. Tenant moved in ! ?
  19. I see you have left the default password and user id. Your bathroom does look a bit grim.....
  20. I reckon the one you have spying on me may have some range issues with WiFi to Cornwall. The others will 'play' for the camera....
  21. Only an issue if you add ethernet capability ( with chinese rubbish ). On WiFi you won't have those issues. Of course if you mean 3/4's etc. that have ethernet then they should all have unique Mac's . Why do you have 5? - which 5 people do you spy on?
  22. I prefer everything wired. For ethernet and power where possible. Wifi is left 'free' for mobile things like phones and laptops. You only have so much wifi bandwidth available. A host name still requires a unique IP ( which isn't a problem ). Non unique Mac addresses mess up ARP, network comms etc. . Switches/routers will send packet data to the wrong device if there is mac address confusion/duplication.
