Looking for help installing my network

Tbh most exist just for poe reasons . -
It’s a good excuse to stall the build . Must add that reasoning to my ‘elite’ aka useless tossers group . ” make a baby , not a house “
-
What was the budget ? And final cost ?

Kev’s a nob Other things to add to grand design top trumps . Excessively costed feature ( e.g curved roof , cantilevered feature ) Despondent music as project looks like failing before commercial break Upbeat music after commercial break as filming is now in spring Excessive rain on non water tight structure Kev’s expert contradictory view “ A medieval castle “ aka “ a monolithic mess “ Camera pulls back and up as Kev emits a meaningless sound bite to the camera in the final seconds of the episode . I always then tell him to get (expletive deleted)ed .

My SWMBO is the same - zero visualisation. For our proposed new kitchen I marked out in tape the layout to scale on the floor .

There is no plan ! . It seems to manage ok now . But I don’t want to cause an issue …. . Decorative chippings as suggested by @Conor might be the way to go . Perhaps I don’t need a solid base underneath ? . If I need to get in there just put a board from the window ledge across bridging the pir ????
-
Yeah I like that . What rigid thing on the pir though ? To deal with moisture and my weight …
-
Digging it out is a maybe . I seem to remember whilst it looks like rough ground ontop it’s actually a big chunk of poured concrete …. I’ll clean it up tomorrow so we can see what’s there

Finally ( after around 7 years ) got to deal with this . The Lightwell is outside the below ground construction . I need to put a ‘floor’ in here . Needs to be able to take my weight as the light in there is bound to fail one day . The ground is rough . Also ( hard to tell ) the 1st 150mm is pir insulation . I did think about a shallow concrete pour over it - but not sure that would be strong enough ( max depth is 40mm before I finish with tile ). My concerns are strength and water ingress ( don’t really want to direct it towards the build ) . Any suggestions welcome !

Sickeningly neat . Wasting time looking pretty whilst the build lags … -

I used nothing . But I insulated the hot feeds - which achieves the same ‘identification’ task . -
All complete nonsense ! . Hep2o is the designated choice for plumbers and non plumbers . Real plumbers don’t like it because it makes them obsolete !! . Stop stalling ! - do some work 😎
