You literally can stick it anywhere. Take out of packet, pair with the receiver, place between butt cheeks and clench..... Seriously they're brilliant. Got one next to the bath. Just stuck on the wall. Nothing behind, no drilling of tiles etc. Can lie back with a beer, turn the Bluetooth tunes on and chill. (Literally, as getting enough hot water to fill the bath is another saga). Comes with options of a double sided sticky pad or you can screw the back plate on. You can also get a little metal bracket to fit across an existing back box in the wall. Video doesn't do them justice tbh. (Only thing is they're a tad "clacky" noise wise maybe, especially in an echoing bathroom. Grid type switches are quieter. One switch pairs to a dimming receiver that controls the downlights. The other just to a plain 6A receiver that does the feature blue lights. When I put this in the finish range was limited otherwise I'd have gone with a chrome effect one they now do in IP67.

Maybe a nice abstract vanishing point sketch in charcoal?

Can we see it in 3D please? ?

How about a curved lower step as in no sharp corners?

Just use a Quinetic, job done. Use an MK or Varilight grid style Quinetic module if you don't like the big ones. https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Manufacturers/Quinetic/index.html

@Ferdinand, @pocster. Do you allow your tenants access to properties lofts for storage etc? Thinking having a loft full of stuff might help them and even encourage them to stay long term. I've a quite spacious loft in a 2 bed terrace, old CWS and header tanks removed. Nothing up there tbh. No loft ladder as yet. There's 4 purlin braces which I'd figure to leave in situ and not touch. If nothing else to discourage use as a habitable room. Insulation is probably only 100mm. If I were to board out I'd maybe look to improve that.

This has made me dig out all my assorted chisels. I'll be putting them on the side of the bench grinder wheel like usual tomorrow.

Dr Phil Macrackin?

Anyone recommend a good company for glass balustrading in the Cambridge area. Mate has his new build up there and is looking for some around a roof terrace. Cheers

I use Jet Blue Plus on compression joints. They do up tighter, without that nasty brass on brass squeak and seal with no weeping joint. https://www.wolseley.co.uk/product/center-center-jet-blue-plus-500-g/

Is there a go to place for odd shower door seals? About 800mm long. Got this one, 6mm glass, fits on the bottom of the door and directs water into the bath: Ta.

Proper cable rods are good...and have a hooky thing... For example: https://www.toolstation.com/draper-toolbox-cable-access-kit/p50619? Just remember when using not to untwist the rod from the hook! -

Other half with smaller hands.Small relative etc. Drill another hole and fill etc, etc. Keep going with the hooky things. -
Weird race. They dig seabirds out of holes with pointy sticks. Looks like chicken on the plate and tastes like kippers. I'd kill for about 15 pints (my record) of Speights right now mind.

Dunno. I know a lot of them buy "forests" as a retirement thing. They manage if as a family during holidays etc. When mature they fell it as their retirement income. They also sh!t in long holes in the ground...

+1 but there are some in-roof systems that sit flush with the (ideally) slates, that are dare I say, pretty good looking. (Imho).

Wayne's response: it looks after itself reasonably well winter sun keeps it warm, including the floor fireplace for cold days opening doors for hot days W ?

Our Hermes delivery guy is outstanding. Goes above and beyond. I've read their basic is about £14K and they're treated like sh!t. Keep meaning to buy him a crate but a monetary "drink" I'm guessing would be better received.

...maybe Edit: Yes I did!

If you will go for these niche products... I had similar issue. Had my noggin for the pocket over the WC too high: Multitooled out: Noggin fitted lower:

As I said above, not my cup of tea particularly but you have to admire the level of detail.
-
What, hollow or something? Cut it out and Sikaflex a lump of timber in there a bit lower I would.
-
What's that pocket made of? Timber? Get the multitool in and take 1/4" off then re tank?
