  1. He wasn't having a go FFS! Do you see how you can easily alienate people trying to help? Anyway...3.5 Mbps you say as a download speed. That tbh is dire. Your upload speed (what you're trying to do with that video) will be even less. (Just checking and my download is about 11Mbps, that's crap too ?). It's what we get for living in the sticks. So you've tried WeTransfer and still no joy? It'll cost you nothing to try Flickr. There's Smash, lesser known but very like WeTransfer. Nothing lost trying that: https://fromsmash.com/ Google as aforementioned, Firefox Send is another. Whatever, at the very minimum you'll have to give them your email and set up an account.
  2. My new, cheapo, eBay riggers boots where the sole separated from the upper are now held together with CT1.
  3. What's the fancy stone? I was thinking something you could shovel out and sift the crap from. I've filled a pseudo French drain here with flints which I'm hardly short of.
  4. What's your upload speed though?
  5. How do you stop leaves clogging a French drain? Thinking maybe put a weed membrane 2", 4"? down and periodically lift and clean it out.
  6. Avoid like the plague, it's ad riddled crap now. They sucked many users onto their free platform then sold out and changed to a pay format. If you have the free service they bombard you with upgrade emails and pop ups. Photobucket is why I switched to Flickr. (No different to what Draftsight did tbh).
  7. Paint it black...well, plastic prime it first:
  8. Grenfell made my mind up that if I ever do ewi it'll be Rockwool.
  9. You could sign up for a free Flickr account. It's really good. Try uploading to that and sharing the Flickr link to whoever you want to view the clip. I take so many photos I pay per year for unlimited storage. https://www.flickr.com/about
  10. I had a Clio who's sunroof leaked like a sieve. I ended up siliconing it up with Dow 791/795 for good. I had a MK2 Capri where the A posts and sills rotted out inside 10 years. It'd had a full length Webasto sunroof since new. The rumour mill had it that they halved the drainage hose allocation for the cars so the hoses stopped half way up the A posts rather than extending down into the sills. A future work colleague who'd worked at Ford had heard the rumour too. Sure enough they do stop halfway up/down
  11. @zoothorn am I thinking you want to render over these stones in the porch? If so you could use the tub mortar stuff I linked but you would need to mix it to a thinner, more spreadable consistency by adding water. Imo well cleaned stones left natural and just repointed would look terrific.
  12. Give it a bit longer
  13. How fast is your internet? This'll do an upload and download speed test: https://www.speedtest.net/
  14. The stuff in the tub is mortar for pushing in between the stones in the wall. A whole new world to tax your brain. Not all breathable paints are the same: https://cornishlime.co.uk/articles/breathable-paints-explained/
  15. Your email/their email/add the file(s) up to 2GB. The recipient gets notification and 7 days to download.
  16. Send it using WeTransfer. It's free. https://wetransfer.com/

  18. Tbh Compriband and Illbruck are the names to conjure with for expanding tape.

  20. Dow Corning 791 & 795 are the weapons of choice on most commercial curtain walling I see.
  21. I don't like that mitred joint in the felt where the little plant is growing by the corner. Is that the corner where the leak is? Nothing lost going over those joints with some clear CT1 and rubbing it in well. I'd be saying f*** it and doing this then taking the excess off with a Fugi tool.
  22. How wide is this gap? Compriband?
  23. I see. You'll need to slip a bit of aquarium tube over your CT1 nozzle then sort of bend it up under the lip and pump. Or a bit of small bore copper pipe etc. If really unlucky you'll create a dam and make it worse! ?
  24. Whack some Seek 'N' Seal on where the glass meets the frame.
  25. When's this happening then? ?
