  1. Plenty of videos on using them on YouTube. You are in a minority not using them tbh.
  2. Well...first you remove the wire insulation to the depth indicated on the back of WAGO... 😉
  3. It's available from various places but why? https://quickbit.co.uk/16mm-5-core-swa-cable-per-metre/ Better to run 4-core 16mm² and a separate CPC (earth) if exporting but again why, just rod the outbuilding. Whatever, run it in a duct.
  4. Just squeeze it straight with a pair of pliers.

  20. Not in my house. I like my ale real and ambient.
  21. As of today I'm roughly this far through mine with a 107mm core cutter. This is proper kit from a demo contractor mate. En route I've had to have the drill apart and tighten the clutch where it was slipping. Drilling the first 16" was not easy but I got there. Then on the next section it's very easy to go very slightly off true. The angled interfaces then make it stick a bit. Tbh I think the clutch was actually OK and it's slipping a protective thing. Now, using it, it's one slip up from A&E: In case anyone was wondering:
  22. Good luck. Even with the right kit diamond core drilling can be hard work. Trying to go through my garage foundations and this bad boy packed up: Still got a way to go 🙁
  23. Thanks. Any pointers as to what that coverage criteria is? Cheers.
  24. Any thoughts on service layout in a 9" wide trench: 20 or 25mm mains water 63mm cable duct 110mm waste I'd have said water at 750mm, electric at 600mm but where to put the 110 waste? All in pea shingle with cable tape etc.
  25. Here's an off the wall idea, vacuum excavation. Spendy I bet but if you don't ask etc. You could be their poster girl for domestic work and get a discount! 😀 https://vacukltd.co.uk/news/everything-you-wanted-to-know-about-vacuum-excavation-but-were-afraid-to-ask/
