How did you get on?

I bottled my hedgerow vodka and gin just before Christmas.... it was surprisingly nice tasting, so much so I’ve got through 2 litres of it! I also gave a few bottles away for Christmas gifts and they proved very popular. Ill probably double the batch size this year.

My actuators are off until powered. The the top raises up - I assume it’s lift the pin of the actuator, which in turn lets the pin on the manifold raise opening the circuit.

You should be able to see if the other zones are circulating by looking at the flow regs?

Have all the other zones got the caps screwed down (where the actuators will go)? If so this is opening all the loops isn’t it? Take the caps off and it will close the loops of I’m guessing.

Vibration!?? Does that activate your camera system by any chance?

Do you have an in slab temp sensor?

On my system the pump is delayed by 3 minutes to allow time for the actuators to fully open.

Like balancing on a bike, or tightrope, wheels on a car... all different uses for the same word... English language isn’t always logical.

I know nothing about heating... but I’m fairly confident that if you reduce the flow it will certainly affect the heat output of the radiator and then the return will change proportionately.

Ffs just spend the £10 get them on the pipes and share the numbers. Just trust the experts who are trying to help you... it’s bloody frustrating enough for those of us on the sidelines.

Just order a few off Amazon... I did and they turned up next day (4 of them for £9.99).

A couple of houses ago I removed an old prefab garage with the asbestos cement board roof, and I was able to take it to the local tip (recycling centre). They had a specific locked skip to put it in. It just needed to be double bagged.

Nice ? Out of interest. Why have you got 2 cut tiles? Meaning 1 whole tile and 2 bits of tile. I would have thought 1 whole tile and 1 cut tile.

I’m toying with the idea of adding a steam generator to our en-suite shower. I would need to replace the door and side panel with a suitable floor to ceiling ‘glass wall’ to make it an enclosure. Then it’s just a matter of fitting the plumbing and wiring for the steam generator kit. Has anyone done this themselves? Any advice?
