I’m currently using Clay works on one of our jobs At £80 a bag you need to be careful with the wastage 5d is a guide As long as it doesn’t drop below 0 during the night Definitely don’t use heat Clay needs to dry slowly Or will crack before you get a chance to splay the hardener on

I run a dry lining-Framing business With tailing company also Fully booked till Easter 2023 Two TF companies have gone bust Causing a delay of 6 weeks I have work for the three gangs earmarked But probably would place them elsewhere if something fell into my lap There is always delays More so now with material shortages I’d concentrate on getting your bricks ordered and have everything in place

Quick answer is No you don’t need an architect But for around a £700-1000 I would bring in a STructual engineer We came in at £815 m2 two years ago on very difficult ground and hoped to come in around a £1000m2 for our next But with most things doubling That figure is likely to be more like £1500m2 For 340m2 build with large garage and workshop As with our first build Shopping around will be key Also a much better ground than last time I think also the size of your build has a big impact on on the cost per m2 Your survey fees Conections fees etc Will be the same for a large house as a modest house

That’s exactly what I’m reading into it In 2035 the government of the day saying yes we have banned gas boilers But not gas/Hydrogen boilers I wondered why BG are laying miles of new GAS mains ?

I’ve been reading an article on the above that that say the government is likely to tweak there decision to get rid of gas boilers by 2035 and introduce hydrogen boilers that run on a 80-20 mix 80 being natural gas A local company to us (Baci) is developing a full range of hydrogen boilers This has got me thinking Would it be possible in the future for these boilers to run 50-50 or even better

If you put C studs in free standing Each will need bracing off the wall Every 800 Which gives sounds something to tack across I stood is stronger and will free standing and the Chanel’s are designed for rookwool slab to took into BGs white book is quite general

Forget the resultant bar and C stud C stud Use a 50 I stud 10 mil void Insulate with rock wool slab which will took nicely in the I stud without touching the party wall Two layers of 15 mil sound block =Silence
