We love Norfolk, spent the last couple of days there, going backwards and forwards round the Norwich ring road - one thing we can say is that the diesel is cheap up there, and the pan tiled roof's, the North Norfolk coastal path, big skies only a couple of draw backs- the two lane section of the M11 and the roundabouts on the A11, sort them and it will be even more of a pleasure to visit!

+1 I have wired ours as full radial lighting so every light fitting and switch has a wire back to the panel with a number. Appreciate that this cannot be done in this situation but we should move to it, or something equally simple for future builds. The only thing the old approach has going for it is that is probably uses less cable.

Would be good to see the outside finish, should be Compriband, might be mastic as @Mr Punter says, post a picture to confirm.

That looks like Ilbruck air tight sealing foam, they just have not pressed it in flush with the foam. Our installers waited for it to skin then just pushed anything that stuck out back into the gap nothing stuck out. You can probably still do it as the Ilbruck foam stays flexible anyway. You can then run the final plaster board reveals round and plaster from there, assuming that is your build up.

Just in case I am not happy with my drywalling skills. Did the garden room OK but the house has much bigger expanses and on 10m long wall directly to your left when you come in the front door so you will see any undulations I worry. Base of plaster boards is dead flat and all vertical joints are butt joints with tapered edges - it's just I wanted to be sure I had a get out if I need it.

I am wondering if it is OK to plaster over an easyfill filled drywall?

Sorry. What I meant was that the smooth continuous operation gets interrupted by the demand for DHW so that needs to be factored in - does higher temperature operation, or changes to from, impact noise levels.

How does this relate to the need once / twice a day to run up the DHW temp if PV / Solar not available?

Only by having camera's in places you shouldn't - I dimly recall your being knocked back across a rubicund you were thinking to cross in this regard.

Yes 96 + outlets does seem a lot for a house.

The house has MVHR so it looks like the overall outer envelope is what the calc should based upon that not individual spaces I would have thought. The whole place at a common temperature is the goal really although I suppose many would want the bedrooms cooler than the living area so that might be a problem. Life is full of compromises.

Eeeek scream. Your house looks like it has been built to, or close to, Passive house standard so something odd is going on somewhere, I don't get why the double height space needs special attention and MVHR must have an impact as it recovers 80%+ of the heat normally lost in air changes.

Great it is sorted but you dodged a fire there, wonder what caused the 100A isolator to burn out, is it switched on/off under load regularly?

I find push down simple enough, you can label it up simply and from the front it looks much tidier with short patch leads.

Although that sounds odd, many think fibre should be faster unless you are on a low data rate tariff. Actually the theoretical Max data rate on 4G is 1Gbs for stationary users while domestic fibre can easily make well over 1Gbs, max in UK is 10Gbs, but the theoretical top is 5G which can max out at 20Gbs - in theory. The issue with them all is the infrastructure and number of users concentrated on your pathway. If you live near a motorway with a big jam suddenly you have a vast number of people using the 4/5G network and in the end that all hits the fibre backbone anyway. Oh and yes you will definitely want power to your data cabinet.

Router > switch > patch panel which connects to the sockets around the place. The switch may need to supply power to the sockets it's called POE (Power Over Ethernet), EG for camera's, wifi access points. This means you buy a switch with a number of POE outlets and the rest normal. If you want to use the CAT6 for anything special - EG HDMI over CAT6 then you will need some additional tech.

Its a long walk everywhere upstairs and you have to go to bed via the wardrobe, the study bedroom appears to have the desk chair on the bed and there are several places where doors clash.
