Guest Alphonsox Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Today is a very good day..... Almost 4 years to the day since we first saw the site we have moved into our new build ! The main house is still "work in progress" but a big push over the last few weeks means we have completed the Granny Annex and have moved in today. We are celebrating with the best champagne available in the nearby town, accompanied by the renowned local delicacy of Tayto Crisps. Many, Many thanks to all those in these parts who have helped us get this far. I can honestly say we couldn't and wouldn't have done it without you. Neil + Judy
ToughButterCup Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Congratulations, Grandad. And Grandma. When do the kids move in? Ian
Declan52 Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Spring onion or Worcester sauce. Or did you push the boat out and have it with some nutty crust. Congratulations.
Crofter Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Ah Taytos... best washed down with a Smithwicks, personally. Well done! 1
vivienz Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Congratulations! I thought you could only get cheese and onion flavour in Tayto crisps. Delicious.
Barney12 Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Nice work. Well done. P.S. Fizzy dry white wine. Yuk!!

Jeremy Harris Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 Great news! We have half moved in, but are waiting to sell our old house before we permanently move. It is a bit of a pain keeping two houses going, though, and if I'm honest, I've sort of lost interest in doing anything to the old house, even though I know that a bit of tarting up might help it sell.
volcane Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Congrats, I'm 2.5 years into our project (and a bit before that I'm not counting!) and feel good that we have finally started.(site cleared stone in and EPS delivered ready for the slab)
