I'd love to see the Loss Adjuster's report and decision.

Short of  ...."It were nudged by a stray 50 tonne armoured personnel carrier - honest".... I can't see how anyone responsible for that mess can get a good night's sleep for a while..... well, @pocster maybe. ?

It looks like the glass was standing up the wrong way in the first place.

It's curved and too high for standard transport and can only be transported side ways. It's packaged by the glass supplier, so they know what they're doing. Just one of those things that happens but shouldn't.

They do, they make thousands of glass units a week, something just went wrong. Are we annoyed? Of course but what can we do about it?

I guess a long lead time?

Yes, waited 12 weeks, these are being remade within 10 days as high priority.

I wonder what the chap said when it happened?

"Er .. ooops".

If the bod is not already off the premises, there will be some serious ragging.
