Yes - should do . Was told by bpc that I can fit the flexible silencers first to Mvhr - which should give me enough ‘bend’ to be in the loft space . Oz07
You do see a few roofs like that with the flat tiles perhaps the interlock detail means it's ok who wouldn't want bonded though?

My neighbours house is tiled with flat tiles that have a line down the middle, they are meant to look a bit like slates and for that to work would need to be offset by 1/4 of a tile from the row above. But they are all laid with no offset at all.
Pocster
Anyone else have issues with the supplied duct seal ? . Doesn’t seem to hold joints together at all ! . Thought it would be like solvent weld but it’s not . Next day with the slightest bit of strain on the joint it comes apart ...

Mr Punter
I like to tape around the outside as well with the foil tape.

Me too, in fact I've relied on duct tape to both join and seal all our sections of rigid duct. There's a good reason that duct tape is called duct tape... jack
If it's a sealant rather than an adhesive, it may not be intended to provide a mechanical joint.
Pocster
Oh yes; I was going to foil tape all joints anyway. Rather make sure they aren't coming apart before I do that though...
Pocster
BPC say that the duct seal stuff remains plyable for a few days before setting. I'll keep to CT1 for now.

Pocster
Below ground ducting complete . Think i’ll Add more support to some of the pipes . The fixing clips don’t seem especially strong . Ground floor now - should be easier . Tricky doing long pipes on your own as I have no friends ??
