Fair play . Pasties made and dead Bristolians - sounds like a win to me

I foam the (expletive deleted) out of everything . I bought a large box of rubber disposable gloves ( ok , I had them already as they have other uses ) . I always buy a foam that needs a gun . I buy the cheap guns off eBay for like a fiver each . Never bother cleaning them . Sometimes they last quite a few cans before they clog; then I bin them . Just to piss @SteamyTea off ; all the cut of waste once cured I stick in the bin and off it goes to Cornwall .

I thought for example an oven isn’t eligible because it can be literally plug in and take away . Also I thought hobs weren’t but extractors were ( sometime ago so may have that wrong ) -

Well I guess that’s good . Lots of my adversities have died ( not guilty my lord ) , so they can never apologise . I tend to not forget or forgive …

Agree with all you posted apart from this . Neighbors ignore me ; sometimes I say ‘morning ‘ to force a response . Once they have gone by I always mutter under my breath (expletive deleted)ing (expletive deleted) twat

Oh I know ! . We just added everything we wanted . So slide out shelves , tambour unit ( spelt ? ) , lighting on worktop edges . Even a mitred joint for the quartz worktop end ( think that was like £500 rather than a standard joint ) . But my view is ; you’re probably only going to do this once so have what you want . Not for me to spend your money though 😊 -

What I did with all the appliances is get the seller to offer them all too me for free . So if you have 5k of appliances + vat but can’t claim the vat as it’s not allowed on them . Get the seller to add ‘free’ appliances . But increase the total cost by 5k+vat . Then you can claim the vat as technically the appliances were free . -

Your kitchen arrangement is similar to ours . Our kitchen ( ignoring install as I did it ) was a similar price also . I think price wise for a German kitchen you are pretty much on the ball . Can you claim the vat back ? I.e this a self build ? -

I think you’re worrying too much . Do nothing and wait . Sometimes the less you say the better . Let them make their move next week . Might be easier to post their exact response . Sometimes it’s what isn’t said or what is ( or is not ) implied is important in your defence . -

I have been a debt collector ( only for a few weeks ) trust me you have minimal info . Basically you just knock and ask for payment- that’s it . I wasn’t a bully btw! Thats why claims court and high court enforcement are much better . -

Yes ! They seemed pretty good . Any issues were resolved quickly . I installed it so did occasionally get things wrong - they were quick to sort . -

Depends . After all it is “ simply “ we weren’t paid , here’s why not type affair . Small claims court is less initial costs than a solicitor ( companies rarely do that in small cases ) . But indeed ; it’s upto them to make the move - whatever that maybe . -

Agree with this . Respond in writing nicely ( again ; assume a judge will read this ) . Stipulate your points clearly , why you are with holding and proof / issue you have . Assuming they respond to that ; presumably disagreeing . You then respond once more imho and tell them to pursue you legally . Most likely they’ll either drop the issue ( how much are we talking withheld ? ) , send more ‘got off the internet ‘ legal letters or actually start small claims proceedings . Bullying is the tactic here via them . I’ve got a few companies who write too me every few months or even years with “ if I don’t pay we will take legal action “ - I respond with (expletive deleted)ing do it . -

IMHO a judge won’t stand that some bs made up extreme interest rate with zero written contract stipulating that . Burden would be on the claimant to justify the rate . 3000% is rather hard to justify - sounds like profiteering… -

Get them to send whatever contract they think they have . If you’ve signed nothing and never been sent anything until now - then there is no contract . Ultimately if you’ve signed nothing but have proof of damage they’ve done then the ball is in their court to do something . My assumption is that I ALWAYS will end up in small claims court . 9 out of 10 times it doesn’t . But it’s best to hope for the best and plan for the worse . -

Unless that’s in writing as a condition of your contract then no . I’ve been to court a good few times - I think a judge would have a problem with base + 8% per day !!!!! That equates to boe+2920% annually 🙄 -
Yes @Big Jimbo I still exist but only as a crap AI bot now .
