  1. Yes ; I thought the same ! Funny isn’t it - you can see the real width - but you kind of see the ply which then fools you . Actual corner to corner distance is about 58cm . I allowed a ‘bit’ of play for the sink as shower tray once purchased is a fixed thing - so can probably creep a few cm away from the shower . I’ll punt my luck on the 1200 x 900 tray ?
  2. Sink box on left . Shower rectangle on right . As I said I have been a bit greedy and increased shower tray from 1200 x 800 to 1200 x 900 - so I could gain 100 mm Shower will have a full glass screen to that edge
  3. I think I had a mix - because somethings couldn’t be done in certain ranges . I’ll dig out the spec I had once at home .
  4. So ! Re jigged the layout Increasing shower tray to 1200 x 900 ; pinch point over 60cm Sink now on the wall instead . Sink unit 100cm long , depth approx 40 cm Tried to simulate the gaps . Think this is ok
  5. Precisely
  6. A messy site is a busy site ... ?
  7. True . Just the thought of a non continuous grout line I.e potential leak ...
  8. I did find a YouTube video where you just stick cardboard between the 2 colours - grout one ; then do the other . But is there a microscopic gap between grout colours ????
  9. Mira mode maxim !!! ????
  10. I’ve done grouting before but this keeps me awake ? Suppose in a wet area like a shower you have white grout on most the tiles but a vertical row of Grey tiles that really require Grey grout between them . If I grout white on the others ; let it go off ; then grout grey I will have admittedly a hair line crack surely from white grout to grey grout . My assumption being I need a continuous grout line to be water proof ( or it’s my ocd ) Secondly on the floor tiles . I have expansion trims . Meant to go in door ways . But if a grout line doesn’t end naturally in that place I’m not going to split a tile just to introduce an expansion grout line ( it would look terrible ) . Do they have to be in the doorway ? or can they just be introduced where the nearest next grout line would naturally appear ??? Must stop thinking about tiling !!! ??
  11. Then I may need the magic Welsh stud to assist me !
  12. Hey Resurrect away ! ? I had 2 big triple glazed sliders . 5 ‘normal’ triple glazed units . Had to chase a lot once ordered and there were some mistakes in units - too be fair they did sort them . I do suggest you visit the showroom- arrange a visit though . Take plans etc. I’m happy with what we have .
  13. Shower concrete block support Probably put an extra block across the middle for support once I know where the shower waste is going
  14. So ; do you just make up the fittings anyway that suits ? - not being rude of course ?
  15. Ok - will use black or grey . All the shower / bath etc . Wastes I see are always white . I’m sure a plumber will be along soon to educate us ... like this https://www.toolstation.com/solvent-weld-tee/p36237?utm_source=googleshopping&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=googleshoppingfeed&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIh_7R-6Pv5wIVBLTtCh00GA3iEAQYGiABEgLJD_D_BwE pretty sure I’ve glue welded with this stuff . All I really remember is it dries fast - like fast , fast . Like glue two bits together , adjust to suit , 10 seconds later realise it’s wrong . Too late - welded tight !!
  16. I do indeed ! So need to extend my vertical with one of those you link to . 90 degree tee then push fitted on that ( below ceiling ) @Onoff you may not know the answer but assuming I run the brown ( standard ) soil pipe fitting to my main ceiling suspended drain - do I use all push fittings ? What about shower / bath waste ? Assume that was all the glued white plastic . Does that need a glued boss strap on the main drain ? Or everything into the main ceiling drain all push fit ?
  17. Moved it around got 3 bars . 18mb download . Upload doesn’t seem to improve .
  18. Onsite Just dumped modem anywhere . Got 2 bar strength . Download 10mb - so significantly better . Waiting for Ariel and then will retry
  19. Got the Huawei 535 today . As expected indoors is poo poor - struggle to get 2 steady strength bars . Upload around 2mb, download 4mb Ordered the Omni directional aerial - see if that fairs better . Tested this at home not at its final destination I.e my build .
  20. Quite possibly! As many have stated my site is not the best organised or cleaned ! Will dig out them bits tomorrow
  21. Mega helpful ! I was deliberately being thick ! ? I’ll check the parts in the kit tomorrow. I just grabbed the elbow because it looked right . Will report back soon !
  22. I think it’ll go ! Am I correct on the underside I just glue a 3” ( or whatever the geberit pipe size is ) onto it vertically -that’s it ?
  23. Yeah I know . It’s getting a 3inch gap past the lintel For the waste ;not breaking into ufh either side . But I must just be lucky ....
  24. I don’t know . Tight ? . Might just miss lintel ??
