  1. Nah , never used or considered one . After all why delta/ aqua a wall ready for tiling rather than liquid ?
  2. Yeah ? . Please link to a liquid tank ? You can just tile straight into it ?
  3. Like the delta board fixings . Not sure about the ‘special’ screws , sure they are just drywall screws . Anyway , any suggestions what I do at this door frame edge ? . If I delta board the edge and tile it ;will stick out past the Eclisse ( grrrrr ) door frame . Is there some ‘mat’ that can be fixed to timber and can be tiled directly on ? ( answer cannot be ct1 ) ?
  4. Use a bandage
  5. Nope
  6. So ! Showers going to the left . Recess left or right ? I.e in shower wet zone or not ? ; can’t decide . Or lay this horizontal and have it half in and half out !!
  7. So just delta then . I did think that . Marine ply or plaster board underneath- if the waters there it’s a problem anyway .
  8. A horizontal delta board covers this wall . Assume no need to deliberately cut and stagger ? Or should I ? Right - flipped a coin , will cut and stagger .
  9. This thread So to save space and marine ply - will go with delta board . Will add noggins at joints
  10. I think @nod said forget the marine ply and just screw delta board direct to studs . I like marine ply because it’s strong and makes fixing anything else easy . Could just delta board it , staggered , taped joints .
  11. Timbered around the f ing sliding door . Put the tray in dry to test . Going to be a bit too tight . Marine ply ontop Walls (12mm) then delta tile backer board . Trays not going to fit ( see space left and right of tray ) . What can I do ? Can I cheat a bit and have tile backer board just down to the tray edge ? I.e not down the sides to the floor ? - that allowed ?? (Saves 8mm per side )
  12. Use it for a ‘feature’ As materials run low I do take this opportunity to remind people I have a surplus of walk on glazing .
  13. Timbers my issue at the moment . Bits n pieces like couplers , screws etc. I just grab from eBay .
  14. Had to stop the team on site and call a meeting . All sat 2 metres apart of course . I told them this was going to be tough but we were in it together. I asked them to reallocate any timber that was being used for ‘non essentials’ for the good of the build . A quick scout around and what was ‘rubbish’ timber now utilised for other projects. First casualty was the hand rail . Keep cool lads , gloves , masks are on the way !
  15. Maybe . It is a push fit coupler so in theory needs no gluing . I needed the lube to get that bugger on !
  16. Think @PeterW said the same . I’ll add it no worries
  17. Yeah . It was tricky ! I need lube to get it on but also need it dry for the tiger seal . Hence why I’m not convinced in this situation it will work . Soon find out . Otherwise a weld as it requires no lube , no sliding , definitely easier . No biggie to cut it out if no good - worth a shot .
  18. Yeah I already planned to add a joint later
  19. Not pretty but done. Not confident - getting the slip coupler fully across is impossible no matter how chamfered and lube. I will leave it a few days to dry . Then I’ll run water down that pan . If that’s ok I’ll block the drain and fill the entire pipe . If it fails I’ll cut the coupler out and weld it - easier to position , no sliding !! It was a good workout though !!
  20. My devils corner still has to grow !
  21. Here’s the paper collection of conflicting crap
  22. What is it with me and glazing ?!?!?
  23. I feel another ccj coming on !
  24. Eclisse have already replied . Obviously want to push this to the seller . I didn’t buy direct from Eclisse as I got a slightly better price elsewhere . So email number 2 on route . Too be fair the seller just sold me the door asked for - I’d been talking to Eclisse in the past and choose from their website .
  25. Irate , rude , obnoxious , blunt , pissy email sent to Eclisse . I’m in a bad mood now .
