  1. Yeah I will .
  2. @Onoff Christ look how many posts you’ve done ! 4K + ; (expletive deleted)ing bandwidth waster ! ?
  3. So this is what I’m looking at and I guess silver ct1 in that 1mm gap might do it
  4. F off I measured the base tile there and was certain the grout line was central . Must of ‘moved’ magically overnight .... ? I will live with this anomaly- it shows I am human and not a tiling machine . ? When I spent a king’s ransom on tiles and stuff I told the guy I wanted zero mitring . Because I (expletive deleted)ing hate it . These little square ends are nice . But they fit in either way round and wobble !!! . Even with a blob of ct1 they wobble - so need to be left to set . Ucking rubbish !
  5. Lol ! As soon as I read that look what I found ! I’ll loosely fit the trim - if it looks good I’ll bed it in ct1 ( any colour ! ) . Once gone off I’ll go round the edges of trim to tile with the silver ....
  6. Don’t like the trim stuff . Awkward to cut dead straight . My previous limited experience of tiling was that the trim had a lip that cover the tiles edge , presumably to hide cut . Thought first about fitting the trim then the tiles . Realised that isn’t going to work ! . So tiles then trim . Assume on the gap between tile and trim I just ct1 the cack out of it . Uncle Nick can you come downstairs now please .
  7. I think uncle @Nickfromwales told me this when he was upstairs tiling the bedroom with mummy again .
  8. I was right ?
  9. Jesus you worried me then ! .
  10. Crumbs ! Hold on ! Let someone confirm I’m right first . Christ ! People think I know what I’m on about !!! ????
  11. I thought you did ct1 as I said and no Mastik inside the shower I.e from frame to tray and wall . So no bead of silicone in the cubical . Obviously I could also be wrong ! ??
  12. Nearly at next stage! So grout then Test shower doors dry . If good drill . Then presumably ct1 clear on door frame where it meets walls and tray That correct ?
  13. Natural salesman me - even when I’m not there !
  14. Can you imagine the voice from the camera “ Oi mate , want some quality walk on glazing ? “
  15. Today some potential customers were coming to look at my glass balcony arranged by the installer of course . Unfortunately I couldn’t be there so I just left the side gate open and informed the company to help themselves. I decided ? to watch them on my Cctv . Unbeknown to them my Cctv has an audio feed ? They liked the balcony and phoned the installer / manufacturer once they had a good look . The customer on the phone said “ I think you’ve got it wrong that the balcony was installed 2 years ago as we assumed a finished house “ Installer replies Customer then says ” It’s a bloody total building site , I’d sack his builder ! “ Audio though is only 1 way . I did respond but alas they never would of heard my fruity words .... ?
  16. I like the shop but often cry in the corner at the prices . Even SWMBO thinks it’s insane pricing . We look for inspiration then find something similar elsewhere - though I still weep at £x per sq metre
  17. Yes But eviction is pretty much impossible with the current Covid rules . Tenant is just ‘playing’ the landlord . Pay him off get him out
  18. And the other bodily fluids we don’t like to mention .... ??
  19. Lots of issues here ... As other’s mention Covid rules handicap you . Any ‘arrangement’ from one tenant to another is not binding - YOU are the landlord . Presumably the ‘problem’ tenants rent is up to date ? - that’s is ( was ) the easiest way to evict . I don’t like how the tenant is manipulating around . You need him out NOW . Easiest solution you get something in writing and you pay him to leave . Other non landlords will scof at such a ploy . But when things get awkward you need to take control of the situation . Unfortunately for differing reasons I can end up squashed between a rock and a hard place - money motivates most people .
  20. Floor tiles B & Q again . Get a dark colour as doesn’t show dirt - also nice and cheap My HMO ensuites have zero tiled walls use the ‘panels’ - no grout to deal with and easy to clean
  21. B&Q etc . are the type of thing you want . Also push taps on the sink - so can’t be left running .
  22. Yes - there’s much less mess . Also after A few hours I go round with a wet brush and try and gently remove any left over adhesive . Next day it’s ‘polishing’ with the dremel ... ? Pocket door expensive and a pita !
  23. Tiling continues ....
  24. Yuck . Hard water = more work !
  25. No hard water here . Never have had to ‘clean’ a washer or dishwasher.
