  1. So ! Coloured grout and Mastik has arrived . Whats the best tool / Mathis to point the grout ?
  2. Don’t know . I’ll ask him tomorrow
  3. Waiting for examination of the photo . Just for the record installed by a company recommended many times on here !
  4. He did apologise for that ! ?
  5. But they never stay in . Just pressure from a tile on one side and on another side - fall out ! ?
  6. What did you do to space tiles vertically ?
  7. Well I’ve dremel cleaned my grout lines . Some of the tile spacing is less than perfect on close inspection . I don’t like the white cross plastic spacers . One of the reasons I make a mess is I try to position them vertically and therefore I use a small amount of adhesive to hold them there ... Have ordered some different type of spacers that can do corners ( which I want ) I.e 3 way . 2 way and 1 way just by rotating them . I want the bathroom tiling to be better !!
  8. Guys have been busy ....
  9. A man after my own heart ?
  10. He also had a battery copper pipe cutter .
  11. Yeah that’s what the guy said around 1600 for the tool . Just not seen it before .
  12. Guys are here connecting up uvc and ASHP . All the internal connections they do in copper . I assumed this was solder , sweat , blow torch etc . But it’s not ! They effectively ‘crimp’ special copper fittings together . Looks as easy as hep2o !
  13. No Tenant Access Ever ! ( just in case I didn’t make it clear )
  14. Erm , I did try to be ‘knowledgeable’ Now you’ve shown me up ! . In theory the install completes Monday - perhaps I’ll know by then ????.
  15. Essentially as I understand it ashp ( fan ) is placed a distance from the property . Inside is effectively a Uvc .
  16. Exactly what I have installed . Does ufh and dhw
  17. Delta board for me . Easy to cut ; water resistant ( not waterproof ) . Light weight - tiles seem to stick to it ?
  18. Sure spend a bit extra on floor tiles for the ensuites - it's only a small area. I think I was just suggesting that any reasonable floor tile will do the job if laid correctly.
  19. I am just a man doing the impossible...
  20. If I was just doing a bathroom I’d struggle and strain to get the tray in with no winch . Building an entire underground house on your own is hard work - I do *try* and make it easier ?? ; I just have the knack of making it look even harder ?
  21. Many years ago ( before the build ) I slipped my disc . Since then twisting / bending have been limited and painful if I push . Strength is fine if I protect my back - I can bench press 100kg . But if standing up I try and put 20kg above my head my lower back has an issue . So - extra caution with heavy things .... ????
  22. That tray in the ensuite - which I can manage easily on my own was in/out a dozen times ....
  23. Yes . And the worlds shortest power lead !
  24. I had to move one of my walk on glazing units at 150kg on my own . Got it in the frame and realised there was an issue so had to lift it out . Not fun and dangerous . So lesson learnt . Also I’ve become quite attached to my back . Once I can do . Multiple times ( I.e twice or more ) find a better solution . Time spent on this will save me later !
