  1. Got my HA code running . Heating for entire above ground if temp drops below 17c then off at 18c I deliberately did a tight range . Heating came on just after midnight , turned off just after 9am . So effectively I ‘leaked’ 1 degree in 9 hours ( outside temp now around 7c ) Electric consumption for yesterday was around 12kwh . Although not a particularly scientific test - that seems pretty good too me
  2. Dgtvnjjnb gbbbn !
  3. Cross post . I’ll count up tomorrow
  4. I think I might split it A switch for non poe and a switch for poe . Then I can daisy chain off either to extend
  5. I will actually need probably more than 48 ports - but not all poe
  6. So my eBay cheapy netgear 48 port poe switch does the job. But ( as mentioned in a previous thread ) is noisy even though i replaced all 4 fans. (f16 take off!!!) I'm looking at maybe https://www.broadbandbuyer.com/products/38330-netgear-gs316pp-100eus/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI1eXC663O7gIVSYBQBh2dTAoCEAQYASABEgJF1fD_BwE Only 16 ports but I can daisy chain them to add ports. Not sure if this is a good approach?. I need to also ( due to space ) wall mount flat against the wall. So potentially I could end up with 4 or more of these! Don't really want to spend 3k on some Cisco wonder that achieves 48 ports, poe and fanless!!! Guessing I can get away with an unmanaged switch. Don't need anything fancy. Low poe budget per port. Fanless was the real issue! Any advice welcome.
  7. A finer phrase has never been said
  8. I will ! . Just leaving it ‘exposed ‘ until I’m convinced it all works . House is so well insulated it’s still 19 degrees even though I turned them off at noon . Some HA code should turn them on once temp drops ( just as a test )
  9. I had exactly the same ! use decoupling mat flexible adhesive flexible grout expansion strips in doorways ?
  10. Cheeky (expletive deleted) ! That is neat ... FOR ME !
  11. Ok, off site at the moment. Will try tomorrow!
  12. ok Ill order one . But would appreciate a step by step approach when I do this . Just to make sure I don’t f it up ?
  13. Erm ! Overload ? Will re read later . An Aladdin ? Does it need a rub ?
  14. @PeterW that cheap eBay wiring centre you recommended seems to do the job brilliantly ????
  15. Sorry lol ! Yes there’s a pump just out of shot - see ?
  16. There ! Just the drawers to fit and some ct1 to hold sink in place . Never quite get it why they supply a template and I have to drill drawer screw holes . Surely they can do that ?! ?
  17. I’m afraid that conversation has happened before . The installer recommended on here countless times doesn’t think it’s necessary ( blending valve )
  18. I’m going to box it in . It’s hard to make it all neat without being sad and shortening every cable . It’s easier like this to locate a particular cable in event of an issue . As I’m sure you are aware my view is “ if you don’t see it who gives a (expletive deleted) “ - not applicable to ocd people of course
  19. All seems to work Trying to get it to turn off at a set temp from room sensor
  20. Nah (expletive deleted) that . Simple system - too many other jobs !!
  21. @Onoff sent me 500 quid . You just got a vent key
  22. Noisy at night @zoothorn buys some ear plugs ( left over from the ASHP ) electric? . He installs pv and a Tesla battery . Easy Peasey
