Yes it does ! It will look like a horrible hack if I do that . The frames are coated and my dremel ( and it’s owner ) aren’t confident of ability to make a neat job of it

8mm tile with 2mm bead tight ! Sliding door has to clear it !!! Thats no adhesive or Matt

I just worry about chipping - but yes edging could prevent that . I just wanted it completely flush . Getting ocd the more I tile

I’m thinking ahead ( probably by a year ? ) But I’ve got to tile this large floor . Don’t fancy grinding the screed lower ! That tile is around 8mm ; without adhesive or Matt it lips the door ? Anyone installed any 4mm floor tiles ? ( I think that’s the thinnest you can get ) I still need to get a decoupling mat and adhesive under there somehow ! . I usually use a 10mm notch to give a 5mm bed . Can I go lower ? 4mm notch to give 2mm bed???

No after . But yes it was her suggestion to relief stress and tension . She then suggested as part of my rehabilitation to join this forum . She did advise me not to read or comment on this thread though . I guess she’ll up my prescription soon

I’ve just installed 5 of these with no issues . As only some seem to be causing an issue I’d change them to a different flow and return . If they still play up swap the wiring in the control box . Then it’s either faulty actuator ( unlikely to be 3 though ) , faulty wiring box . After that you could just ‘waste’ 50 quid on a different wiring box - just too see what happens ...

It is difficult/ can't be bothered to work out what's poe and what isn't. So; I ordered 2 of the fanless poe switches ( giving me 32 poe ports ) and a cheap 16 port non managed poe switch. I'll swap over to that. Everything is labelled so *in theory* I can see what needs to be poe and what doesn't. I use poe for most things though. All sensors for example, ip cameras . I'll report back on these fanless poe switches once I have them. Next time I'm down there I'll measure the db off the netgear switch!
