  1. Nah , looks way to big !
  2. Or a nice slogan like “Oi Twunt , why are you plugging that in ?”
  3. So many options . Some nice openings around a 13A socket ?
  4. He certainly wouldn’t agree at the price !
  5. Agree with this . If my plasterers been on the ? the night before ; a flush socket against wobbly plaster will look pants
  6. I think they look bollocks - too flashy and sparkly for me . Would suit someone who has a sparkly shower tray for example . I do like the varilight range though
  7. Or a nice photo of a section of my anatomy behind each socket !
  8. Which brand / make ??
  9. You’ve been ‘ gearing up ‘ since January 2019 !! ???
  10. Is it just me? - or does anyone else get excited about sockets? ? When i was a kid it was white plastic ( which became yellow eventually ) and that was it. Now it's amazing! Here's some I like - though the real designer stuff has no prices! ( which I take as a bad sign for my wallet ) Any recommendations welcome!! https://www.swtch.co.uk/material-glass/ https://www.theinternetelectricalstore.com/electrical-plug-sockets-13-amp-12-c.asp https://www.ashdownhomestore.co.uk/retrotouch-double-switched-plug-socket-13a-black-glass-pg-00651-11631-p.asp https://hartingtonheath.com/product/i-lumos-luxury-white-glass-panel-13a-switched-uk-plug-double-socket-with-3-1a-double-usb-charger/ https://www.wandsworthelectrical.com/online-shop/?collection=&finish=&product-cat=20&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjb6h1vTX7gIVGu3tCh3sIAKKEAAYAiAAEgJHxPD_BwE#filter--rtb https://www.lightswitchesandplugsockets.co.uk/retrotouch-double-switched-plug-socket-13a-white-glass-pg-00660-3225-p.asp https://oxfordlightingshowroom.com/sockets-and-switches
  11. Lol ! Think you’ll be lucky ! Of course you could offer to pay half now and a small fee to ‘hold’ it for 12 months ... Fantastic doors by the way ! - though my finger scanner has since died ☹️
  12. You could do as I did Buy somewhere to live in ( with mortgage ) long term cheaper plus you get any capital appreciation. Also if you run over timescale it’s not an issue . This has worked well for us . Rent would of been 800pcm . Purchasing ( with a 40k deposit ) makes our interest only mortgage at 300pcm . Property is worth about 30k more than we paid for it after 3 years .
  13. Yep . Temporary door . Rk doors are fantastic but you don’t want it banged or scratched
  14. Naughty bad boy ! ADMIN!!!!!
  15. Might just Chuck 1000 tubes of ct1 in there ?
  16. I meant I'll fill the entire gap with tile adhesive . Or maybe concrete then the last 20 mm tile adhesive. Then decoupling matt over the lot THEN adhesive the tiles down. So it's all level with the screed
  17. I was being sarcastic ? Tile adhesive ( flexible ) will fill it . Why snap the tiles off possibly?
  18. Bollicks to you all @ProDave was right ! Dremel off that bit and have a massive step of maybe 8mm ! Wonder if my best mate @Onoff would 3D print me a cap to go over the bottom of that section and hide the cut ? ?
  19. No gap at the top for this !
  20. It is . I shuttered in a bit too far . No problemo though
  21. Gap at top ????
  22. Easy peasey with tile adhesive
