Is that slang for homosexuals?

Exactly - all the best things ! Up the Brizzle !

You have technology in Cornwall that can measure your power consumption????
-

Other spikes ? When I run the shower or hot tap ...
-
@SteamyTea just for you . Spike gone ! What was it ? . I forgot I had a tiny floor area ( 6 sq m ) permanently on low for ufh ( to avoid condensation around my HA stuff ) . Off now ?
-
Looking remotely I can see it’s not ufh . So would guess ASHP and uvc are cycling . I seem to recall there was a buffer heating option which was on . Could that be the issue ? . Tomorrow I’ll turn off heating and hot water so expect consumption to drop
-
Does it actually matter though ? . If it draws more to keep temperature in 20 mins or 40 mins throughout the day ( or night ) - what’s the concern ??
-
I’m controlling the ASHP so probably need to adjust the HA so it only checks the temperature perhaps just a few times an hour ....

Could be me running the shower and finding leaks

So ? Bite my ass then .

Lost ? You mean “ used “ uvc , cctv , file server , Nas , ufh ( if temp drops enough ) , false ‘ movement triggers ‘ causing lighting to come on ( shadows , sunrise etc . ; I’ll fix this ) . There’s lots of refinement to be done here . When I visit for example ; lights come on due to movement irrespective of luminosity of the room I.e is wasteful .
-
Remember ASHP and ufh operational on half the house . So if temp drops; ufh will keep house at 17 degrees . Also Uvc will draw a bit to keep tank of hot water . So whilst I say “ not living on site “ ufh above ground is functional . A tank of hot water is always available. When we do move in the extra draw will be lighting at night , tv , fridge/ freezer . Ufh heating is crude at the moment I.e only temperature sensor is in the bathroom which in turn dictates heating for the *entire* upstairs . House not 100% air tight yet - will be though . But equally zero ufh enabled below ground .

I think it bodes very well . pv hasn’t yet produced 4kw - so given the time of year pretty good . Most I’ve seen is 3.2kw . I charge my car - so effectively another battery store . House ( as not living on site ) doesn’t use a lot . But SWMBO Will occasionally use the shredder ( on for bloody hours ) Tesla house battery sucks up the excess before exporting .

Yeah I know . The ‘reasoning ‘ to choose between them is quite limited . I wasn’t worried about aesthetics I.e being flush with roof . Our rack ones are jet black and do not protrude from the roof very much . It was the efficiency that I preferred - can’t remember the exact values - not a lot of difference though anyway .
-
I considered these pv ‘a but .... If a panel fails and has to be removed you have an exposed roof ( for peace of mind I like roof and pv to be seperate) . Also I was told in roof pv are less efficient as they don’t have the airflow compared to ‘rack’ mounted ones .

House not occupied at the moment so some low electric use for Cctv , ufh , ashp . Pv 4kw
-
13kw to grid now !
-
I did advertise the off cuts for free . Only a few bits were taken though . Other ‘bits’ I did stick inside the timber frame and foam between them . Looks a mess but better than wasting - very slow build jigsaw though ?

Inspired by my “skill “ I decided to take the back of the wall off where the shower hose elbow is . It’s to far forward by maybe 3 mm . Mission Abort !!! For reasons I’ll never know I had screwed pipes and clips to that board . So impossible to get off !! Quickly put back on wall and screwed in . I’ll live with 3mm error - was going to silicone it anyway ?
-
Finally ! Taken all morning to fiddle with shower fitting , packing , plumbing . At last a leak free grub screw ! Quite how you are meant to get that mm accurate from the front (I.e before tiling ) seems impossible too me !!
-
My rings always tight - you know that . I think from memory there is a grove . I can only access from the rear ( how many times have I said that ) . So might cut the supply hep20 . Then I’m free to move / bodge / professionally alter the fixing to suit .
