evening. qq. on the Loxone Relay I'm presuming that there isn't any sort of polarity with the relay outputs and it doesn't matter which way round the live and neutrals are put in? I couldn't see any notation in the data sheet so figure it's just a switch and it doesn't care if it's switching live or neutral.

I bought some of this https://www.toolden.co.uk/sealants-adhesives/adhesives/grab/illbruck-pu700-multi-purpose-construction-adhesive/?gad_source=1 seems pretty solid. used it to stick timber to my screed that has ufh pipes in it as I didn't want to screw into the screed. can't you use fixings though? would be rock solid with mechanical fixings

Regulations for landing balustrade (banister)
Thorfun replied to MortarThePoint's topic in General Construction Issues
i'm not sure on the regulations but i believe the balustrade needs to resist a certain force and have certification that it does so. maybe Stairbox won't give that certificate if you don't have the extra newel post? đ¤ˇââď¸ -
But if you move the shower further from the soil stack wonât you need to dig more concrete out to get the fall to it from the shower trap?

Thanks for the lovely comments about my thread. I wish I could help you but I do really still not know much! Iâd have been lost without the wonderful help from the knowledgeable folk on here. Hopefully someone can help with your questions. I did try reading the building regs on the subject of waste but got quite confused! If youâre smarter than me (wouldnât be hard!) then maybe you can try and glean some knowledge from them. best of luck!!

Which internal doors have to be fire doors? if any

what's the price difference between a solid core 35mm door and a 44mm FD30 door though? probably not a lot. we got a good deal on FD30 doors, they're bloody heavy and should be a good solid door. we got these XL Joinery doors for ÂŁ143+VAT from Jewson. the 35mm version were ÂŁ83+VAT. -

i've been told by quite a few friends to get FD30 doors anyway as they're much more solid. yes, they're double the price but you can get a deal if you shop around and i dislike the flimsy feeling non-FD30 doors. ymmv. -
although that says system data and configurations, not firmware. so I'm not sure that the restore from backup will revert the firmware update. seems to be lots of posts on UDMPro rollbacks but not UDR. https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=ubiquiti+dream+router+firmware+rollback&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8#ip=1

At least the grout is a decent colour.

How much did the CT1 leave the pan off the wall? 1mm? 2mm? Or more?
-
Yeah, sounds like thatâs right out of @Nickfromwalesâs playbook! was just curious if anyone had gone the foam sheet route and had any feedback.
-
AhhâŚ.right. I was asking about those foam sheets that sit between the pan and the tiles. I presume you just used CT1 on the back of the pan to cushion it against the tiles? I have read your thread but it was a long time ago! Iâm sure most on here just use CT1 as I believe thatâs what @Nickfromwales suggests but the MI for our pan shows a cushioning sheet between the pan and the wall so I thought Iâd ask the question.

I thought the sound pads were to reduce noise of porcelain against tile?
-
Not even a âdonât waste your moneyâ?
-
so no one has any thoughts/opinions on those sound insulation pads? đ¤

finally, a useful thread from @Pocster with information i can use. đ
